Honda’s adventure-ready Passport TrailSport was lightly updated for 2024 and is getting more tweaks for model-year 2026. The automaker says changes to the mid-size SUV signal “a new appetite for big adventures,” but released few details aside from a teaser image.
The new model’s grille wears more squared-off styling with large Passport lettering across the front, along with new TrailSport-exclusive amber daytime running lights. There’s no word yet on if it’ll get more off-road enhancements for 2026 as it did in 2024.
For 2024, the TrailSport variant upgraded to General Grabber A/Tx all-terrain tires mounted on 18-inch wheels, and Honda tweaked its off-road suspension with revised spring rates, dampers and stabilizer bars.
The current Passport, which was first introduced for model-year 2019, gets power from a 3.5-liter V-6 engine making 280 horsepower and 262 pounds-feet of torque. It pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
The new 2026 Honda Passport will arrive at dealerships in early 2025.
