How Much Is the New 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid?

Subaru’s all-new 2025 Forester takes direct aim at the bestselling compact SUVs in the U.S. It does so not only with its more conventional styling and proportions, but with its new hybrid powertrain. Teaming a revised version of the brand’s 2.5-liter flat-four-cylinder engine with two electric motors nets the Forester Hybrid a total of 194 horsepower, 14 more than the non-hybrid Forester. Now that Subaru has announced final fuel-economy estimates and pricing, we can better contextualize the Forester Hybrid against its chief competitors.

Safety Features and Trim Levels
The Forester Hybrid’s additional standard equipment starts with its EyeSight safety suite. To the regular Forester’s forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering and emergency steering assist, the Hybrid adds standard blind spot intervention and rear cross-traffic alert.
The entry-level Forester Hybrid Premium also includes 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, a panoramic moonroof, a hands-free power liftgate, and keyless entry and starting. The Premium’s seats are cloth, but the fronts are power-adjustable and heated. It also features six speakers, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and an 11.6-inch touchscreen with navigation.
Bronze 19-inch wheels and black exterior trim distinguish the Forester Hybrid Sport from the outside. Inside, it is upholstered in gray synthetic leather with brown stitching and features an 11-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
The Limited forgoes the bronze wheels and gains rain-sensing windshield wipers and a choice of black or gray synthetic leather (now with blue stitching); it is otherwise the same as the Sport.
Riding on dark-gray 19-inch wheels, the Touring tops the line with a driver attention monitor and 360-degree parking camera. It coddles occupants in real leather and features heated and ventilated front seats and heated outboard rear seats.
