New for 2020 are four exterior paint colors: Stellar Silver takes the place of Molten Silver (it’s from space!), Magnetic Force takes over for Coliseum Grey (Magnets! Forceful ones!), Winter White replaces Dazzling White (Remember “Game of Thrones”? And how the last season definitely didn’t suck and the existential threat of permanent winter lasted all of three episodes?) and Cream White will take the spot of White Pearl (I don’t have a joke for this one).
The only other content change to the Tucson is the addition of a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob to Sport and higher trims. Otherwise, the Tucson still retains the same four-cylinder engines and six-speed automatic transmission. Standard and available safety features and optional headlights earned the 2019 Tucson a Top Safety Pick Plus from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and there are no changes in those areas for the 2020 model.
