Infiniti Etherea Concept Shows Small Promise

While we don’t know much, we know that this amorphous vehicle gives us a glimpse of Infiniti’s future design direction and confirms that the brand is thinking about an entry-level vehicle slotted below the G25 sedan.

The Etherea has an estimated 173-inch length, which is similar in size to the BMW 1 Series and Lexus CT 200h. Infiniti says the concept combines elements of coupe, sedan, crossover and hatchback into one — depending on the angle; you can certainly see where they’re coming from. Upfront the concept borrows many cues from the Infiniti Essence concept, shown at last year’s show.
