The 2010 model year sees the addition of a high-performance model for the XF lineup, the XF-R, which was introduced just last year. There are also significant price hikes on all other XFs and XKs. All 2010 models go on sale during the summer of 2009.

The 2010 XF lineup includes the XF Luxury, Premium and XF-R, including a total of three engine options, two of which are brand new. The 2010 XF has a starting price of $51,150, which is a $1,950 price hike over last year’s starting price. Jaguar says the hike is due to a new acoustically laminated windshield and brake-assist safety system.

The new 385-hp, 5.0-liter V-8 comes standard on the Premium, and a supercharged version of the same engine powers the XF-R. The XF Premium starts at $56,150, and the supercharged XF-R starts at $79,150.

A new high-end Portfolio Package — which includes top-notch luxury items like heated and cooled seats, a sued headliner, and 20-inch rims — tacks on another $4,000 to the Premium trim model.

The XK and XK-R get similar upgrades and additional refinement. The new 5.0-liter V-8 is standard across the lineup, and the XK-R gets a 510-hp supercharged version of the powertrain.

The XK starts at $82,150 for the coupe and $88,150 for the convertible, which is a near-$5,000 price increase. The XF-R coupe and convertible cost $95,150 and $101,150, respectively.

New available features on the XF and XF-R include a new adaptive suspension, heated and cooled leather seats, a heated leather steering wheel, and a 525-watt stereo as standard equipment.

There was no mention of a 2010 Jaguar XJ.

Prices do not include an $850 destination charge.
