Many automakers load up aging models with popular option packages and offer them in specially named packages to bring renewed attention to slow sellers. Usually, this happens with U.S. automakers like Chrysler.
Today, Porsche announced a Cayenne S Titanium Edition, a limited model that includes DVD/GPS system, Bi-xenon headlights and moonroof — as standard. What isn’t standard? Copious amounts of titanium-hued trim on everything from the wheels to the side mirrors. There are only four available exterior colors, including two exclusive to this model, a Pure Red and an Iceland Silver Metallic. The nice part about this edition is that it costs 10% less, $64,900, than a regular Cayenne S with the same options yet it looks like it would cost more. It is only available in the U.S. and Canada.
