CARS.COM —Mercedes-Benz has been launching new body styles of its mid-size E-Class luxury car for more than a year, and it will cap the lineup with a new four-seat cabriolet at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show in March. Joining the sedan, wagon and coupe body styles of the E-Class, the convertible “combines pure, sensual design with high levels of comfort on long journeys for four people and state-of-the-art technology,” Mercedes said in a statement.
In a teaser image the automaker released, the convertible is sitting in the shadows with other E-Class models behind it. Expect to see a lot of design similarities with the coupe — minus a fixed roof, of course — when it’s unveiled.
Beside the E-Class cabriolet, Mercedes will also display the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet SUV and Concept X-Class pickup truck at the show, though neither is destined at this time for the U.S. market. Meanwhile, Mercedes-AMG is expected to show a new concept car in addition to four world debuts.
