The convertible should arrive on the market early in 2011 and will come standard with the same powertrains found on the coupe. There will be a base 312-horsepower V-6 engine with 278 pounds-feet of torque. There will also be a SS trim featuring the 6.2-liter V-8. Chevrolet also showed off the Neiman Marcus Edition trim last month, which starts at $75,000.
The new photos show a RS Package-trimmed convertible with red leather seats. They also show how the Camaro will look with its canvas roof up this time around.Earlier photos of the convertible only had it with the top down.
The Camaro convertible will start at $29,150, not including an $850 destination charge, when it goes on sale in late February.
