The Premium is one of four trim levels that Nissan plans to offer for the GT-R in 2017, but the others have not yet been announced. The Premium is currently the base model for the 2016 GT-R, with the new 2017 edition representing a price increase of more than $8,000.
The refreshed GT-R features a more powerful engine than the outgoing model, a retuned suspension, mild styling updates, and a new interior with fewer buttons and switches.
The Premium trim will offer three semi-aniline leather interior options and standard navigation with the NissanConnect multimedia system. All new Premium GT-Rs also will feature a titanium exhaust system, acoustic glass, and active noise cancellation and active noise enhancement to control the noises one hears inside the beast.
The GT-R is slated to go on sale in mid-July in the U.S.
