Nissan is now offering customers an all-new leasing option called SignatureFlex that aims to enhance flexibility. The new option gives lessees the ability to add miles if they are approaching their mileage limit rather than having to worry about paying for each mile driven over the limit.

Nissan claims the new lease option is reflective of changing driving habits, including the rapid increase in low-mileage lease contracts. SignatureFlex is available on all Nissan models and comes on the heels of a limited pilot program the brand did back in 2022.
“Our data clearly shows that Nissan customers are choosing lower mileage limits for their leases, so we’re providing a more convenient, more flexible way for them to manage their needs,” said Jim DeTrude, vice president, Nissan Motor Acceptance Company Sales & Marketing. “SignatureFlex allows drivers to pay for only the mileage that they plan to use, while having peace of mind they can conveniently buy more miles if their driving habits change.”
SignatureFlex is available for all Nissan lease plans and covers all mileage limits and terms. Lessees who choose to use SignatureFlex will be able to buy more mileage at any time through the NMAC website or mobile app. Customers will get personalized notifications about their current mileage as well as projected mileage through their vehicle’s connected car features.
