Before he switched to a more politically correct Ford Escape Hybrid during the presidential campaign in 2007, then-Sen. Barack Obama owned a 2005 Chrysler 300C sedan. He often stressed that he drove an American car, and for all you environmentalists concerned about the 340-hp Hemi and its 15/23 mpg city/highway, remember it was his family’s lone vehicle.

Well, that oft-talked-about 300C has found its way onto eBay, but not without a hefty price tag. It seems riding in the 44th president’s former sedan will cost at least $100,000. That’s the opening bid; the car’s Blue Book value is close to $17,000.

But what’s $83,000 when you can own a piece of presidential history?
