Chevrolet has announced pricing for the all-new medium-duty 2019 Silverado 4500, 5500 and 6500 chassis-cab trucks. Although the trucks won't make it into dealerships until late this year, we have pricing details for the full lineup. No doubt some people will want to put a traditional 8-foot bed on the back of one, but for now Chevy is leaving that to the aftermarket.
Here's a brief list of features for the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 4500, 5500 and 6500:
Two-wheel and four-wheel-drive configurations are available for all models The turbo-diesel 6.6-liter Duramax makes 350 horsepower/700 pounds-feet of torque
- Gear ratio options are 4.10:1, 4.30:1, 4.56:1 and 4.88:1
- Gross vehicle weight ratings range from 15,000 to 22,900 pounds
- All models have a smooth upfitting-friendly one-piece straight frame without rivets on top
- The tilt-forward hood allows for easy engine access and serviceability
- A 50-degree turn angle for the front wheels provides tighter turning and easier maintenance
- Optional features include dual fuel tanks, air suspension and a suite of connectivity choices
