A new variant of the 2016 Ram 1500 is now available, and it's called the Stinger Yellow Sport. If it reminds you of the from a few years ago, it's supposed to.

This is Ram's second yellow-themed special-edition version of the 1500. The truckmaker introduced the in March. Clearly, Ram has a thing for the color yellow. The Yellow Rose also comes in the same Stinger Yellow paint seen here, but we like that the Sport adds more aggressive styling. There are two wide, black racing stripes; prominent hood vents like those on the 1500 Rebel; and 22-inch wheels (20 inches on 4×4 models).

The Stinger Yellow Sport will be offered in crew-cab 4×2 and 4×4 configurations. Under the hood will be a 395-horsepower, 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 mated to an eight-speed TorqueFlite transmission. Inside, most of the upholstery will be black with accent details in Light Black Chrome and yellow. The uplevel UConnect multimedia system with navigation and the 8.4-inch screen is standard.

Keep an eye out for the Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow Sport when it lands in dealerships in this month. Ram says that only 2,250 of the special-edition trucks will be produced, with a starting price of $44,340 including destination.
