“I just picked up the 2010 Fusion SE four-cylinder a few days ago as my new company car. I turned in a 2007 Fusion, and it’s a whole new world. I was never happy with my ‘07 and decided I never would have driven one if my company didn’t provide it.

“The 2010 is a whole different story. I love the new front end. The updated grille and headlamps are very slick and make it look like a much more expensive car. There’s some real style there.

“The rear didn’t get a major change, but the slight changes to the trunk and lamps do help to give it a more upscale feel.

“This all continues into the interior. I’m an insurance adjuster and travel across the entire western half of Oklahoma, sometimes driving as much as seven or eight hours in a day. In just a few days with this much driving I can feel a huge difference in the comfort of the seats. The stereo and A/C controls are easy to find and use. And the blue glow of the dash just looks cool.

“The boost in horsepower over the previous model gives it just enough extra pickup where I don’t feel like I’m struggling to keep up with traffic. And on my first few long trips (about 230 miles each) I’ve averaged around 34-35 mpg with the cruise set near 70 mph. Not bad.

“Overall very impressed, and this is one that I would be willing to spend my own money on.”
