Reader Review of the Week: 2010 Subaru Legacy

“I drove four other midsize sedans before buying a 2010 Legacy 2.5i with the new CVT transmission. The car has adequate acceleration but is not a ‘hot rod.’ The interior and trunk are very large for a midsize. The sound level for road noise is excellent.

“The AWD ride is smooth, and it corners with little sway. The real bonus is the gas mileage with the CVT transmission. I am getting 32.8 mpg average in Colorado. I like the cockpit layout, and the Harmon Karden stereo has superb sound quality.

“I know that when the snow flies this winter, it will handle well — it is a Subaru. I am very happy with the whole package.”
