In the affected vehicles, rain or other liquid could enter the driver’s side window and cause electrical problems in the switch. This could lead it to overheat, potentially causing a fire. “No crashes or injuries have been reported related to this issue. Honda is advising customers to park affected Fit vehicles outside until the power window master switch has been inspected,” the automaker said in a statement.

Honda will begin notifying owners in mid-July. Owners can call Honda at (800) 999-1009, option 4, or go to www.recalls.honda.com for more info.
