The affected vehicles were manufactured from June 19 through July 12 (check your vehicle’s build date on a sticker on the driver-side doorjamb) and have front wheel hubs that may wear prematurely and eventually crack. This could reduce the driver’s ability to control the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Nissan will notify owners starting Oct. 8, and dealers will replace the affected parts free of charge. Owners can call Nissan at 800-647-7261 or NHTSA’s vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236 for more info.
