Recall Alert: 2013 Jaguar XJ

Vehicles Affected: About 70 model-year 2013 Jaguar XJ luxury sedans manufactured between May 21, 2012, and July 10, 2012

The Problem: The generic software calibration installed on the vehicles’ restraints control module may not meet the specification for proper operation of the supplemental restraint system, putting occupants at increased risk of injury in a crash.

The Fix: Jaguar will begin notifying owners July 29, and dealers will upload new software for the restraints control module for free.
