We swear we had no inside knowledge that Steve Jobs would highlight a Nissan mobile ad program at his big announcement of the new iPhone 4 earlier today. The fact that the Leaf is currently winning our poll about being as highly anticipated as the new phone must just be coincidence.
Still, the Leaf — which Nissan says is virtually sold out before it goes on sale this fall — was on display in front of the tech world’s most important people. Jobs filled out a mobile app that put him on a waiting list for one of the electric cars. We expect the Apple CEO won’t have a problem getting one.
