If your child’s old safety seat is stained beyond cleaning and worn beyond safe use, or if it’s just time to get that growing child a booster seat, Target has a deal for you. Trade the old seat in and get a coupon for 20 percent off a new child seat, booster or stroller.

The offer started Sunday and runs through May 5. Target has drop-off boxes at full-size stores’ guest services counters where you’ll get your coupon, which is good through May 19. The small-format stores, i.e., smaller urban locations, are not part of the program. You can find the nearest participating store here.

Target has arranged with trash giant Waste Management to recycle the seats traded in. Target has been doing these trade-in offers since 2016 and says that it already has recycled 176,000 old child safety seats.
