After the long (and still ongoing) wait for Mahindra’s TR40 pickup truck, we got word from PickupTrucks.com last Friday that the four-wheel-drive model was EPA-rated at 19/21 mpg city/highway. That’s disappointing to say the least; it belies the compact dimensions and the diesel four-cylinder powertrain that comes with the model. It’s also worse fuel economy than what can be had with the more powerful and larger F-150 4X2, with the 3.7-liter V-6. To find out more, head to PickupTrucks.com.
