VW is showing off its iconic hatchback’s fun side with four new special-edition concepts that range from the sporty to the, well, colorful. Beetle Wave, R-Line, Pink and Denim concept editions turned heads at the 2015 New York International Auto Show.

Styling cues include the R-Line’s large spoiler, 20-inch wheels and aggressive-looking bumpers to the Denim edition’s Stonewashed Blue Metallic paint outside and denim-look map pockets inside. Check out the gallery below.
