We bought a used 2019 Honda Pilot from Lia VW, within 2

We bought a used 2019 Honda Pilot from Lia VW, within 2 months of purchase we began having significant issues it, but unfortunately we were just a few days outside of the 60 day warranty the state of CT requires dealerships to offer. We were initially put in contact with Matt(finance manager) who did nothing at all to rectify the situation. We finally got in touch with Chris(general manager), who reluctantly agreed to pay half of the nearly $900 repair costs. I would not recommend buying from this dealership, the initial purchase was fairly smooth but they will not stand behind the cars they sell.

Excellent sales experience with Anthony Reynolds

Check Engine Light

A few days ago the check engine light went on the minute I started my car, and the manual said to take the car to a dealership to have it checked out. Lia is 2 miles from my house, so I took it there, where Jason Falwell helped me at the service desk. We made an appointment so a technician could analyze the problem. The day of the appointment I parked my car and went in to announce I was there. Jason got me settled, and within a few minutes came to tell me when the tech started the car the light didn’t go on (!!), but that he could still get a bit of a reading. Jason asked me some questions that hit on something I had wondered about - lately when I started the car in the morning and went out onto the street, I thought there might be some roughness, but I wasn’t sure if it was the rough road or whether there was something going on with my car. Jason said my car was approaching 100,000 miles, and the symptoms I described were the beginnings of the effects of carbon buildup. In short, my car needed to a have carbon cleaning. I was impressed with the entire process at Lia, and with Jason’s ability to explain the problem to me.

Great service.

Brought my 2012 Passat in for a coolant leak. Jason Farwell went above and beyond to get me a loaner car as this issue was major and more involved than replacing a hose. Jason did his best to keep my costs down get my car on the road quickly.

Recall repair

Once the parts were available the process was very good. Every one was very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint would be that my recall parts were not available on the day I was scheduled for dispite waiting for a week for that appointment. Rescheduled a week later and all was good.
