UNRESOLVED ISSUES!! STILL SITTING HERE WONDER WHAT TO DO WITH A CAR I JUST WASTED 30K ON. I could go on a long winded play by play of everything I have... went through. I work constantly, all business hours literally, so half the time I can't even find time to call my own family..So this will make it easier. Let's just outline it. (Keep in mind my schedule and I actually live 2 1/2 hours from this dealer) MID AUGUST: Called Mercedes in Orlando because my wife bought her Mercedes SUV there so I figured I would try, being newer to Florida figured this would be our new dealership as we trade out mercedes every year or two. Found out it was owned by autonation and saw they had the S550 I wanted at thier Lexus dealer in Miami. NEXT: Was told they can just have it brought to Orlando to save an extra hour of drive time. With my work schedule... sure I put deposit down over the phone site unseen and agreed. (Took 4 days) NEGOTIATIONS: This particular car was on the high end of others similar to it as far as price. It was explained that thier price is thier price and I can respect that..And it was also pointed out that some of the reason it was was more pricey is the fact it had the upgraded BANG AND OLUFSEN sound system! (This comes in later) I trusted buying this car site unseen for 2 reasons, 1: Mercedes dealers are usually meticulous and 2: They had this fantastic (bull**) policy of a 5 day return or 90 day warranty as I believe it was explained GETTING THE CAR: This was almost fantastic, car was ready to go can't say enough nice things about Edgar, I believe in finance. Saw the car, the outside was beautiful didnt even test drive it ?????? Than doing the paperwork I saw that I was charged $250 to have the car brought to Orlando to save me an hour drive 4 days later which was never brought up until signing. But at this point paying 30k and driving 2 1/2 hours I wasnt going to argue, just thought it was slightly underhanded. PROBLEMS: The 3 hour drive home started to notice, the upgraded sound system that justifies the extra price is wrecked, just not working. I've heard better sound from a Prius! Several of the speakers are blown and the amp isn't working properly either (the best part of getting in a mercedes, after slaving your life away all day at work is to jam out and cruise home comfortably..well there goes that) Also the car was pulling to the right and I felt like it wasn't shifting properly, lack of power is the best way to put it. Having owned 3 of these in the past I know how they drive. There was no wiper fluid..RED FLAG! ADDRESSING THE ISSUE: I immediately sent the sales guy an email explaining I'm kind of freaking out which was not responded to right away, I barely had time off work to get the car and drive there in the first place, now alls that's going through my head is a 5 day return policy i may want to utilize and i dont have time to get there..thank God i have that 90 day warranty to back me up LMAO. CALLS: Next thing is I havnt heard anything about getting this addressed asap being on a timer and all..but I'm getting messages left and right (I CANT GET TO BECAUSE IM AT WORK) That i need to do some completion call with the lender (which I dont know if I even want to do because I'm not sure if this car is ok!!) comment dosnt give enough space and there's so much more to this : End result I SCHEDULED myself finally drove there waited 6 hours looked at it for 10 minutes because they are "busy" I was told the Brakes always squeal? they hear nothing with the sound ? (I'm not deaf) no shifting issue and just needed alignment.. NO! BANG AND OLUFSEN SOUND SYSTEM SHOT$ IT PULLED BECAUSE THE AIRRIDE IS LEAKING!!$$ THE BRAKES SQUEAL LIKE A BANSHEE! AND THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS ARE RATTLING $$ EXPLAINS THE LOSS OF POWER! WHAT DO I DO? I WISH I COULD JUST CANCEL THIS WHOLE NIGHTMARE OR LEAVE THE CAR THERE! MAYBE CALL THE LENDER? SOMEONE HELP ME! I SHOULD HAVE STOOD MY GROUND AND EXCHANGED THE CAR B4 FINANCE call!
the service attendant i had was top notch...I want the same person all the time. Thank you Mercedes, its for that reason I keep purchasing from only you.... This is my 4th Mercedes from you...I have reccommended to a friend and she has purchase 2.

Periodic normal service provided by the dealer. Made an early morning appointment, took vehicle in night before and met with the assistant service manager... . Car had no operating problems. Car was serviced as required, received a call when it was ready, car was washed and assistant service manager reviewed what was done . Very pleased with the process.
