I've purchased 2 vehicles from Carlson in as many months and this has been by far the best buying experience I've ever had. There was no haggling, none of that back and forth stuff that always seems to happen anytime you purchase/lease a vehicle. I simply called Greg and told him what I was looking for, what I wanted to pay and the next day he called me and told me to come take a look and see if what he found was what I wanted. I will never purchase another vehicle from anyone else and I give Carlson Leasing a huge thumbs and highly recommend them to anyone thinking of acquiring a new or used vehicle any time soon. I bought A 07 Toyota 4Runner Sport with 4.0 V6 and 4X4 from this place and I was attracted to it due to there price being lowere then the othere places(bigger dealers)around town. This place specilizes in new/used car leasing but they do sell the cars as well. The sales department was good BUT don't asume that you will get everything in wrighting because you have to ask for it. Case in point; Before I bought the 4Runner, I told them I noticed that the brakes were warped and they said that I should drive it for a week and if I noticed anything else, bring it back and they will fix it. I didn't get this in writing and something like this should be in writing. So the brakes needed replacement, and I noticed a crack in the molding/trim on the driver side passenger door. I brought it back and they fixed the brakes BUT gave me a compensation check for the molding instead of fixing it(which wasn't even half of what it will cost to fix it). After a month/1000 miles of driving, the tranny was shuddering. I brought it in to a Toyota dealer and we determined that the maintenance was never done on this truck. I have a sample of the tranny fluid and if you saw it, it would be a no brainer why it was shuddering. So I had to have the maintenance done at MY expense. I am now looking a purchessing a extended warranty for this vehicle because I can't trust it now. So if your going to buy a vehicle from this place, take a really good look at the vehicle and test drive it thoroughly because once this place it done with their leased vehicle, they just sell it with no maintenance done. I think next time I will just buy new any buy from a bigger dealer because I just can't trused small places like this anymore. It just cost too much.
