BMW X1 purchased in 2019 at Union Park Delaware- Pretty
BMW X1 purchased in 2019 at Union Park Delaware- Pretty sure I got a lemon! The Left side mirror keeps dropping, they say it should not do that, I said I know. STILL DOES NOT WORK, they do not know how to repair it. The car looses memory all the time, and now after 26K miles it needs new rotors, brakes and 2 new tires. They supplied maintenance for 4 years (Yes, I paid for the extra years service), looking at all my reports they never did a tire rotation!!! I never even new to ask.....but why should I!!!

Their oversights cost me money, but not my life.
Union Park Honda in Wilmington Delaware rotated the tires on my 2011 Honda Element on March 31, 2023, and neglected to sufficiently tighten the lug nuts on my front driver side tire. Four months later the front driver side of the car was making thudding sounds, the steering wheel was vibrating, and making rubbing and creaking noises. On August 9, 2023 I cautiously pulled the car into a Meineke for repairs. The lug nuts on the front driver side tire were easily removed by hand. With loose lug nuts, the steering and suspension was under extra pressure for every mile I drove. Eventually, to no surprise, the axel boot broke, greatly destabilizing the suspension and steering of the car and allowing dirt and debris to enter every part of the tire. The front driver side brakes were hardly functional covered in grease, dirt, and debris. So, not only was the stability of the suspension and steering compromised in the front driver side, the front driver brakes were as well, not to mention the tire could have fallen off. Thankfully their mistake did not cost me a car accident; I am probably lucky to get away with $1000 in repairs to make the car safe again. It gets worse. In May of 2022 I took my Element to Union Park Honda in Wilmington Delaware because the front of my car was vibrating back and forth at higher speeds. After calling me and saying that they could find nothing wrong, someone decided to drive it. Then they called me back and let me know that my CV Axel was broken, saying that it should have been replaced 20k miles ago. This means that every time they changed my oil with a Maintenance Minder B for the last 55k miles, they did not check the CV joints.

Auto spa
I had 2 issues following my Detail visit. One involved unfinished cleaning of my dashboard area which was promptly remedied. The other was a missing letter ?K? from the rear of my car. New letters were ordered and I will make an appt this week to have them applied. Everyone was agreeable and most courteous.
