I have purchased cars from this dealership for the last 11 years. Hands-down the best people in the industry honest and caring. I have owned everything from a $6000 car from them to an $80,000 vehicle. Purchased a car for my mother here. I will not buy a vehicle anywhere else They have sold cars for me. They have found cars for me out of state, and never had one issue. Chris and his staff are the best. I had shipped vehicles back-and-forth from New York and never had an issue. I have always used Jennifer as my sales associate and always well. She knows what I like and she looked out for me and finds the right car for me.

These guys were super dishonest.
These guys were super dishonest. We agreed to a price on Friday afternoon on a new Jeep that had been taken in on trade in. I agreed to their asking, listed price on KSL. No haggling or anything. They said they just needed to run it through their service dept to make sure everything checked out since it was new on the lot and we could finalize the sale as soon as it came back. Well, it came out clean and I came back to finish the purchase right away and they had raised the price on me $2k!! no apologies, no meet in the middle, just that the owner decided over the weekend he could get more money for the Jeep and so he didn't honor our agreement. Classic Used car salesman crap. Greedy and dishonest. Barry the salesman there is the only good thing about this establishment, everything else, esp the owner and manager Chris, is not worth it.

I was new to the area, needed an AWD for the canyons, got
I was new to the area, needed an AWD for the canyons, got ripped off by Barry Nolan, and Chris's team. Car looked good, test drove it, signed, and came back for pick up by Uber, it was thrashed, totally different. Had multiple lights on the dash, gas completely on empty, no oil, rear passenger tire gash with leak, and engine light on... I refused to take the car. Argued with Barry, he said "he'd make it right", never did. Dealership refused to cancel the sale. I got 2 mechanic reports, both said $10,000 in immediate repairs needed, do not drive the car, if I do, it will turn into $30,000 worth of repairs. Learned car was sold 4 times at the 100,000 mile mark. I returned the car via the credit union and the dealership refused to pay off the credit union! They profited twice on the car! Now I am being sued for the sales contract. I see over 30+ reviews on google this has happened to others. It's Auto Fraud, they camouflage the condition of the car by deleting the codes temporarily to get you to sign. They lie that they inspect, service, and maintain the vehicle, at their Service Center. You meet the team and they all lie together. See the lawsuit at Weber County Court. Do not trust them!

KR, Which vehicle did your purchase? A lot to unfold here. We can't just turn lights off. Vehicles need to go through an inspection and emissions, if a light is turned off, the vehicle wont past the sate mandated emission protocol so you can receive your license plates. Just purchased a truck about a month ago now from RC
Just purchased a truck about a month ago now from RC automotive in Salt Lake City. The only reason why I went with this company is because the repair shop (not the same company but same name) was awesome the first time I used them. UNFORTNATELY, the same CANNOT be said for the sales department. The sales agent I worked with is named Donovan. He seemed all nice and polite to sell me the truck, of course. However, I was never told this was not one of their own vehicles. This truck was on consignment (they were selling it for their "friend"). In fact, before I purchased it, I specifically asked about if something happens right away if this is something they would fix. I was adamantly told that of course they would, and I should have no worries about this "well taken care of" vehicle. Well, as soon as I got it, I already noticed the brakes were squealing pretty bad. I was told by the repair shop to give it some miles to see if it gets better. While waiting, the truck also started leaking oil and the truck started running rough, AND the battery was giving me issues. I made an appointment with the repair shop and contacted the sales agent who assured me BEFORE I bought the truck that I should have no worries. Well, once I contact him, I am then told that they cannot do anything about it because it was not their vehicle it was their friends that was on consignment! WHAT?! SERIOUSLY! After being told I was never informed that this was not their vehicle, and this was important information to tell me because I wouldn't have bought the vehicle had I had known (just for this same exact reason), I was told that it wasn't important information for me to know and he didn't mean to let that slip. UNACCEPTABLE! Of course it makes a big difference! I could have bought a truck on FB if I it didn't matter. Of course it matters. That is WHY people buy from a dealership and NOT an individual. I got no assistance from the sales department at RC Automotive. I was out nearly a grand after JUST buying the vehicle and who knows how much more. DO NOT USE RC AUTOMOTIVE TO BUY YOUR NEXT VEHICLE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND LIE TO YOU!!!!

I made this purchase from Texas and she assisted me all the way through including assurance that it was shipped to my home. She went I believe out of her way by taking pictures of my purchase so I could see what I’m buying and for this I give her and the dealership 5 Stars. DO NOT BUY From RC Auto. These guys will say anything to get you to buy, agree to fixing issues, and then ghost you. These people will say they'll get back to you and never call back.. When you call for updates they completely forget you even existed.
