Great Experience Buying my 2017 CX-5

I'm from CT so I had to drive quite a ways to get up to this dealership that had a used car I was interested in. I had been to several other dealerships trying to find the right car for me. It was my first time buying CPO. Katie was super helpful and after basically spending the day there and chatting, I bought the car. I also never felt pressured to buy it - I felt they were really honest about buying CPO and answered questions more honestly than at other dealerships. The only reason I had to give the buying process 4 stars was because I had to drive up there for the paperwork and they were going to give me a loaner vehicle due to the delivery situation. However, they forgot to set aside 1/10 loaners cars and gave them all away. It kind messed up my plans for the delivery. I think if a dealer makes any kind of promise or sets a certain expectation, you have to hold to it. Overall, they were great and would recommend them.

Rob is very unprofessional and rude

Sad to say the general manager Rob Is a very dishonest man that only cares about his profits and dosent call back his clients even after countless tries.

Ease of Purchase

As a woman buying a car for the first time on my own, Tim and Barry made the entire process easy for me. I knew what I wanted to purchase and how much money I could spend and they made it happen. They took my trade in and when my pre- approved financing fell through at the last minute, Tim was able to find very reasonable financing for me in less than an hour. Barry spent a lot of time with me in the new car explaining all the new features I was unfamiliar with. My past car buying experiences with an ex-husband have been gruesome to say the least but my experience with Sentry West was the complete opposite. I highly recommend this dealership.

Sentry West Staff were professional and easy to interact with. The salesman, Tim was forthcoming when asking questions. He also said openly, "I don't know," when he he didn't have an answer and together we searched the internet for a response from the manufacturer . The Sales Manager is a clear communicator and was knowledgeable and very personable. He was confident and diligent in his follow up and kept his assurances. The Service Dept. Manager demonstrated he welcomed my business by stating, "If there's anything we can do for you, let me know." Certainly surprised me to be so respectfully treated. When I asked how to use one of the accessories in the vehicle, a very polite mechanic showed me. I appreciated his candor and willingness to ensure that I knew how to use it, before departing with my vehicle. I was delightfully surprised by the entire experience.

I bought a Mazda6 from Nick Scherer, the second car I purchased form him. I went back because he's such a pleasure to deal with. He really knows his stuff and goes out of his way to answer questions. He made the experience pleasant and painless.

Best Sales Experience Ever

Nick was knowledgeable and helpful with my purchase! I didn’t feel pressured (until signing finance papers, they always try to add in tons of extras I don’t want). Overall nice experience.
