Absolute best Service by Beverly

One of the best car buying experiences that I have had. Over the years I have purchased 3 vehicles and let me just say that BEVERLY is the best! I do not visit used car dealerships but I took chance and I am very thankful that I did. I was able to get into a vehicle less than the price point that I was looking at and it also had a fraction of the miles I was looking for as well because I thought that since I was rebuilding credit AND had a vehicle surrender from about 5 years back that I would not qualify for a newer, lower mile vehicle. Beverly was quick, honest and went out of her way to help my family and I. She maintained great communication and is so down to earth. She will go out of her way for you and operate with honestly and integrity. She is not pushy whatsoever. Please try her before you go anywhere else. The other car dealerships in the area proved to be ok but you can tell when a sales person is treating you like a quota and when a sales person is looking out for your best interest like Beverly does. She still checks up on the vehicle and my family to make sure everything is ok. She is a true asset to this dealership!

Poor Customer service

This dealership does not listen to its customers and their requests. I would highly recommend not contacting this dealership in the purchase of a vehicle.

Dealer response

LW, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. The only way for us to improve our process and provide better customer service is to get reviews from consumers so that we can pin point our mistakes and correct them. The more detail you can provide us as to how we failed you, the better we can learn and correct our actions as to better meet customer expectations. How did you contact Thrifty (email or phone), and do you remember who you worked/spoke with? Please call, email or text me directly with any details your're comfortable sharing. Thanks in advance for your time. Brion Bethel-Owner Thrifty Car Sales - 208-869-2744, brion@thriftymtnhome.com

Pretty easy going

Good buying experience i did a trade in and it was a simple process. the only problem i had was i already bought my new vehicle and was told that the warranty would roll over to my name but then they tell me after the fact that its only for the original owner and only 3000 miles where left on the warranty for me. then they gave me only one key and was told that the lady was not there to give the other one so they said they would look for it and said if they cant find it they would try to get one at dealership price for me. called a few times and they never found it and pretty much said sorry. 300 dollar key from the dealership. overall good dealership but the honesty wasn't there.

Great experience buying a car

I purchased a 2013 Chevy Malibu from Thrifty Car Sales in Mountain Home. The condition of the car, price and mileage were considerably better compared to similar cars from other dealers. After receiving a price quote by email, it only took an hour or two to finalize the purchase. Even though I came in with financing already in place, they were able to beat that low rate. There was never any attempt to change the price or steer me toward a different car. The price quoted was the price I paid, though their standard dealer doc fee was on the high end. Darren in Sales was very friendly during the test drive and while arranging the sale. Corey in Finance was nice to work with in completing the purchase and explained any questions I had on the paperwork. Compared to other dealers I've purchased from, the people at Thrifty Cars were never pushy or pressuring. It was one of the best car-buying experiences I've had.

Fantasic Seamless Buying Experience

Wife and I looked for a month at several used cars and dealerships in Boise, ID.. After seeing a Cheverolet Captiva on Craig's List at Thrifty Car Sales in Mountain Home, Id. we called and spoke to James to get more details. He was very informative and what he didn't know he found out and called us back the same day. We decided to go take a test drive of two Captiva's with sunroofs they had. Upon arrival, we were cheerfully greeted by Richard and Cory. Richard quickly arranged test drives of the two vehicles. James, our original contact, met us and we sat down to discuss all the options available on the two cars. Once we decided on the gray Captiva it took about an hour to work out a great price, arrange financing and close the "deal". Cory in finance was terrific. The whole experience of purchasing a car from Thrifty Car Sales was effortless. We felt no pressure and the buying experience was pleasurable. We would recommend anyone shopping for a car go there.

Great customer service!

Thrifty of Mountain Home with Ralph and Cory did an outstanding job and gave me a great deal on a Suburban. They not only had the cheapest price by several thousand dollars but made the process super simple. I had to make a seven hour drive to pickup the vehicle but it was better than I expected and I was done within a half an hour. They also drove me to the Boise to drop off the rental car and returned to the dealership to send me on my way. Great experience and an outstanding vehicle.
