Amazing and reliable rebuilt from salvage car.
I bought a rebuilt from salvage car back in 2018 and was very hesitant about it knowing that the car was totaled. The car they sold me that was rebuilt completely by surefire motors has been amazing and completely reliable. It has never needed a repair or anything at all.

Awful
Just a total waste of time and money. They had an opportunity to stand behind their product and be true to their word. The car lasted four months before needing a MOTOR.

Rebuilt from Salvage is driving fine.
I purchased a used "rebuilt from salvage" car from Surefire Motors. They encouraged me to get it professionally inspected and they drove it to Groove Toyota for the pre purchase inspection. They fixed a few minor details that that were mentioned. I was able to come from out of town and pick it up quickly with no surprises. It was a fair price and I am happy with the vehicle. I was able to see the photos of the wrecked car before they fixed it. Some insurance companies have different rules for Rebuilt from salvage. Thank you Surefire Motors, Please keep up the quality work.

2017 Subaru Forester
This is the third vehicle my wife and I have bought from Surefire. We’ve never had any problems with any of them in the years we have owned them. Jake and Tah have always been honest in every transaction and provided auction pictures so I could see what the vehicles looked like before being fixed. They do a great job fixing their vehicles, which is why the salvage title never bothers me. I live 600 miles away in ND but Surefire is and will always be the first place I look when looking for a new vehicle. All three vehicle we have bought have been Subarus but after seeing a Rubicon they had awhile back I’m pretty sure that will be my next purchase. Thanks Jake and Tah, we’ve really enjoyed our Subarus over the years and always look forward to buying a vehicle from you and not having to deal with a stereotypical used car salesman. I always feel like I’m buying a car from an honest mechanic at Surefire, not a snake of a salesman I typically find at dealerships.

Shady business
We drove 2 hours to go look at a Jeep Rubicon. As are all their vehicles, it is a rebuilt from salvage car. Husband called the next day and made an offer, which was excepted. I arranged financing and called to get the vin number for the bank and was told by Todd "I don't know who you talked to, but I won't honor that price." I said I guess we'll keep looking, and, then he basically hung up! He was very rude! My husband had a very wierd feeling about buying from them. After reading other reviews on their main page, I see we aren't the only ones that were treated rudely. I suggest you go to a reputable dealer. This place is a glorified chop shop.

Hi, I apologize for the misunderstanding of the initial phone call on the offer. My understanding was that you were going to purchase the Rubicon for list price, $23,998. We Agreed on installing a lift kit. When we received the email, you offered $20,000 with install of lift kit. That is where the misunderstanding happened. When I called you back to confirm the total price of the vehicle, If I sounded rude on the phone, I apologize. That was not my intention to sound like that over the phone. I never hung up because I recall your husband speaking to me about looking at a different Rubicon. The last thing I heard before we lost a connection, was you were looking at a clean title Rubicon. I figured the conversation was complete at that point, that's why I didn't call you back. As for our business being up front and transparent, we thrive on being honest and truthful about the whole process. Just because we couldn't come to an agreement on price of this rubicon, doesn't mean that we deserve to be put down on the work that we do. Please reconsider this review and if we need to talk about it, please call me 720-775-1705 -Tah Nhean

Hey Stan thanks so much for taking time to write a review for us. We never ask for people to do that but we really appreciate it when they do. It was very easy doing business with you and glad we could get your granddaughter into a great car that will be trouble free for years to come. You've got my contact info in case anything comes up. Before or after the warranty expires.
great experience
Jake and his crew are real honest hard working car guys. when my car was totaled I thought I would never be able to afford to get anything like it with what the insurance company gave me. The car that I found and bought from Jake surpassed the one I lost and was priced reasonable. Jake and his crew made sure the car was the best it could be and went above and beyond any expectations I had. I would recommend Surefire motor to anyone needing an inexpensive good used car.

Great Honest Dealer
Jake is excellent to work with. Just to be clear this is an unconventional car buying process. The guys are genuine, hard working, and honest about everything. They will show you exactly what they did and what was damaged and they will stand behind it if anything goes wrong. Drove the car from Denver to Pheonix the day after buying it and gave me no issues whatsoever. If you’re looking for a great deal and a down to earth transaction give them a shot. Will be returning in the future!

DISHONEST
These people are not trustworthy. They misrepresented that the car I bought (later returned) was stolen and had no damage. However, the Carfax report stated the car was damaged in a rollover accident and the airbags deployed Their response was that Carfax was wrong, even though there were other documents in the file that there was damage to the car. I believe they just wanted to get more for the car than they could if they said upfront that it was a rollover. Avoid this dealership. I suspect that the positive reviews they have are written by them or their friends.

I'm sorry to see you wrote such a bad review Kathy. We do our best to disclose everything we are aware of, not only because it's the law, but because we are one of the few honest dealers selling used cars. We bought this 4Runner on 7/16/19, listed it for sale a day later and you initially purchased it on 7/18/19. Then you came in threw the keys and paperwork on my desk yelled some obscenities and later cancelled your check. If this vehicle was overturned and the airbags were deployed there is no way to replace the roof, roof airbags, headliner, seat belts, airbag module in one day. Carfax made a mistake. It wouldn't be the first time we have found a discrepancy made by them. If we were not being honest why would I have sent you a free copy of the Carfax and the pictures from the auction? We relisted the car later that week and resold it to a customer and he took the 4Runner to a Toyota dealership for a pre-purchase inspection. We mentioned our negative experience with you and asked for them to inspect the roof and airbags along with their usual list of items they would be inspecting. After their inspection Groove Toyota certified that this vehicle had never been overturned nor had the airbags ever been replaced. In response to your final accusations of us writing our own reviews, we have never written a single review ourselves on any site. That's why we only have 63 reviews, over 19 years of doing business on cars.com. When you read reviews that have been paid for, or have otherwise been fraudulent, I feel it is pretty easy for a sensible person to distinguish those from authentic ones. I'm sorry you felt the need to not only call the dealer board on us, which after scheduling a meeting and discussing this case, was dismissed, then feeling the need to slander us in addition to writing several bad reviews and in the end not even giving us the common courtesy to discuss what Carfax had mistakenly reported. I have included the link to the auction where we purchased this vehicle from for anyone that is interested to see this vehicle's condition when we purchased it. Hopefully, this link will not get removed from this reply as it helpful for other people searching for the truth when reading our reviews.
I am very impressed!
The facility is a working garage, so don't expect free coffee and pastries! My daughter and I went there to check out a car for her. Of course I was a bit hesitant given these cars have salvage titles, but an independent mechanic looked over the car and said gave it his blessing, "you have a good car, and I don't say that to everyone" I was very pleased with the service, the "no pressure" sale and the forthrightness of the owner. They also provide 90/ 3,000 mile warranty. We took the car on a trip and it ran/runs beautifully. I will look to them again for the next car.

Nona thanks for taking the time to write a review. I like to think that we are very up front with what we are doing. We try very hard before and after the sale to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied with their purchase. Thanks again for taking time out of your day to show other people not all used car dealers are hard to deal with
