Our experience with this dealership was fine for the first part, but when it came time to sign the documents with Frank Buonacore, we felt extremely uncomfortable. He was very pushy with the protections, and was even trying to get the other members of the family who were present to start leasing other Honda vehicles. I would not return here.

The original price we were quoted and the final price we paid were both relatively “clean.” No significant add-ons of accessories we didn’t want or didn’t need were included in the final price from this dealership. Also, Trava, the salesperson we worked with, was friendly, helpful and information oriented from our first inquiry throughout the purchase of the vehicle. NO pressure.

The sales department was great however every time I have
The sales department was great however every time I have been here (at least 6 different time now) for maintenance it has been awful. They are unorganized, no one ever knows what's going on and no one even talks to you for a half hour when you show up. They don't follow their appointments so what's the point of making one?!?!?! I have worked with different advisors every time and this time I was looking forward to a women advisor her name was Orlena and she started out great but then lost all communication after having my car for 2 days. My car was supposed to be ready on Sat. (took my car in on the prior Wed.) and I didn't receive my inspection like promised or a call back to notify me of the actual cost like promised. I called on Monday and Orlena was not in and they told me to leave a voicemail for her partnered advisor. I finally just went in and spoke to Noah who had my ticket on his desk but literally knew no information about my car or what was done or the cost. I paid almost double what I was told since it should be covered under warranty. Noah told me he couldn't do anything and had no information and to call make in several days when Orlena was back. Their service department is trash. I have had it and am transferring all my services to a different Honda. Jesse Olson was my salesman and was great, very knowledgeable and made sure I knew all the options and features of the accord as well as options for services that Planet Honda provides. He made the buying experience easy and non-stressful. Tyler was also great in my initial interest, and they did not bombard me with emails and calls.

Hondas just improve the quality of your life.
Hondas just improve the quality of your life. I've driven Hondas for over 20 years. Giving up an old Honda is heartbreaking. Now driving a Honda Accord, I love the visibility, durability, and design. My 10 year old Honda got an oil change at Planet Honda in Golden, Co. this week. It's such a clean, friendly atmosphere, so unlike taking a chance at any old garage with possible unhappy mechanics. All in all, service was easy, not stressful, and they did the job well.

Horrible experience with people who don't seem to know
Horrible experience with people who don't seem to know their jobs. We were about to purchase a vehicle from these people when they advised "it stalled, and it's going to have to go into the shop for a a week or so" which means that one of their employees probably wrecked the car while prepping it. Worse yet, my wife was left stranded at the dealership with no way to get back home, 30 miles away. Then, they found us financing for less than half the balance at 16%?!? Happily, in a matter of minutes, I found a better version of the same vehicle (Murano Platinum) across the street at Stevenson Lexus-Lakewood. Their employees picked my wife up from Planet Honda, took her to their dealership, and sold her the car with MORE features, HALF the mileage and at 6% lower interest rate that is now sitting in our driveway. Can't trust our salesperson "Ethan" or the finance manager Roland, who lied to our faces. What a horrible experience with employees who are happy to deceive their customers, lie about financing, and leave us stranded. Highly recommend Stevenson Lexus across the street. I wouldn't even consider stepping onto the Planet Honda lot again. Everything about this dealership felt shady, inconsistent, and based on lies. Vehicle Home Delivery? They wouldn't even offer my wife a ride after they ruined the vehicle they were attempting to sell and leaving her stranded. So thankful for Stevenson who saved us from this wretch of a business.

- Shopped for a used car
Joe, Thank you for leaving a review. Your wife came in to purchase a used vehicle. She had her current vehicle, that was here, towed back to your home. Leaving her without a car. When we went to clean up the new vehicle, we noticed a potential transmission issue. Concerned that it would cause her problems in the near future, we informed her that we would need to get it checked out before we give her the vehicle. Since this may take some time, we offered to give her a service loaner. She declined that offer and left the store. We wish this all would have went down smoothly but we would rather miss a deal than deliver a vehicle with potential issues. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you would like to speak about it further, please contact me directly. Jeremiah Watson. General Manager. 3032154284. jwatson@planethonda.com
I called the dealership this morning to report my concerns, and received denials of what happened, back-pedaling, and excuses from the sales manager. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. I HAVE BEEN LIED TO BY SALES, FINANCE AND MANAGEMENT REGARDING THIS EXPERIENCE. This company does not fully inspect their cars, as this one was being sold with a failing transmission. I had cash in hand, ready to buy, and was lied to repeatedly by several employees at this location. There are many, many dealerships in the area. I'd avoid this one like the plague that they are. Further, we have USAA insurance, and we provided a declaration page, insurance cards and other documentation prior to the attempted purchased, the salesperson Ethan, and the finance manager told me that the documents were not valid, and that my wife was not on the policy, in spite of the fact that her name was listed on all documentation and USAA verified the coverage. I don't know if these people are improperly trained, don't care, or just have bad attitudes, but they're certainly not professional or worthy of your time or money.
Back in January 2024, I went to Planet Honda because I
Back in January 2024, I went to Planet Honda because I had a service light on. 2009 Honda CRV - They found the problem and fixed that. They did their checklist to find other problems and found that my left rear driveshaft boot was leaking. They replaced the driveshaft (axle), replaced my brakes, etc to the tune of 2300.00. around 2000 miles later, on April 28, 2024 I was driving on I-25 south by Castle Rock going around 65 and there was a very horrendous bang - I thought maybe my tire was blown although this was louder. I was able to pull to the side of the road - not much traffic on a Sunday morning. I looked and my tires were ok. Not knowing what happened, I got off on the Plum Creek exit (it was where this happened) I noticed that the car was ok until I got around 40 and then it was a loud clunking. My brother drove down to help me and checked the car and noticed that the left side driveshaft was not attached anymore. There was a huge play in any direction. I parked the car in the Midas parking lot. On Monday, I called Planet Honda about this and a tow. They didn't call me back. When I finally talked to them, they informed me they didn't do tows. My brother and I went down to Honda personally and talked to Connor the service manager. He really wasn't interested but said if we towed it they would look at it and make a determination. We finally found a tow company through a friend and had it towed to Planet Honda. Noah, the service advisor called me when it came in and asked why they had it. Obviously Connor, the service manager had not set up anything. I informed Noah what had happened. I also called the General Manager and left a call and message which he never returned. Texted Noah and called for an update - nothing. I had to finally call the main number and get someone to get me into Noah's voice mail. He called back and informed me that the part had failed but it wasn't their fault (?) Also that both axles were broken off sockets and stabilizers, both rear stabilizer bar links were broken and sway bar and had to be replaced (this was a CATASTROPHIC event), the differential was also leaking and had no fluid needed to be flushed. I don't go off road, I only drive the highways and neighborhood roads. There was no reason for the left rear driveshaft (axle) to be broken. I'm sure that it caused the rest of the damage when it broke, and I'm lucky I wasn't in a huge accident. They had my car in and checked (supposedly) everything in January. They found the leakage in the left rear driveshaft boot but didn't say anything about any other problems with the rear end. I only drove another 2000 miles!!! I can maybe see that the differential seal could start to leak after their service but that's all. Also, when they gave me their estimate of 4,202.56 they included replacing both rear axles with aftermarket parts 2,213.10. They had another line item with replaced both rear axles with Honda parts with the left one under warranty for 1,123.33. On the original visit, they quoted me on the front brake repair and it was almost double what Big O Tire quoted me but the car was in and to save time, I ok'd the replacement. I thought that maybe Honda parts were better so worth the extra price - I can't afford to have this work done so I have LOST my car. I don't recommend anyone to go to Planet Honda for service. They don't care and are not reputable. Also, I asked about a loaner and they looked at me like I was crazy and said they didn't have any available - that's what they said when I first brought the car in for repairs in January. they didn't give me the option to just replace the driveshaft (axle) that is warranty (even though it wasn't (?) their fault it failed - part or installation??) I probably will see if they could do that and then see if I can find anyone who wants to buy it. I still owe 4800 on it. This is devastating. Sandi Meunier

Have driven Hondas for over 30 years - most recent is a 2011 CR-Z that I LOVE even though visibility is horribly compromised by the car’s design. However, there has been years’ long issues with the battery - I have forgotten how many times it has been replaced with no real answer as to why dead battery continues to occur. Was in yet again yesterday. Met service manager Orlena Lutz. FINALLY, someone who actually listens to a woman who knows her own car unlike previous good ol’ boy service managers with the mental eye roll. Orlena went far beyond in service and courtesy and effort to determine the issue than any one else has in years. When I first went to Golden Honda, there was a woman in the service department. She also was fabulous. Get a clue, auto dealers/service departments - there are brilliant, capable, professional women. Out there! You are fortunate to have Orlena.
