How I Paid Lynch Toyota $150 To Do Nothing
I brought my FJ Cruiser in today for a parking brake repair, which is an admittedly miserable task. I also asked them to replace a rotor while in there. After a few hours, they called to inform me that the frame was so rotted, and brake backing plate so warped, that the vehicle was unsafe and not worth repairing. Incidentally, I had the FJ up on a lift the previous day to look at the brake situation with a mechanic friend; the frame was and is perfectly solid, and backing plate fit for use. Lynch Service simply didn't want to do the job, wouldn't admit to that fact, and charged me $150 to essentially call my otherwise fine vehicle a pile of junk. They couldn't even be bothered to replace the rotor, a simple 10-minute job. To be fair, they "managed to get the wheel back on and rolling." Gee, thanks. After I paid the invoice, the cashier pointed vaguely to the parking lot and said "it's over to the right somewhere." Indeed it was, about 150 yards away. Horrendous business.
Scott, Mike and Sean were professional and helpful every step of the way with my used car purchase. The facility was clean and everyone was friendly pleasant.
Purchased vehicle from Lynch Toyota
Mike Hastings representing Lynch made it possible for me to purchase and take delivery of a 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD while taking steps to help ensure the safety and well-being of all involved in the transaction. Thank you!
Gary Adams was top notch. Patient and helpful to us during the buying experience. We love our 2020 RAV4 hybrid. Jullie was a pleasure to deal with as well.
Outstanding Service from RJ Shemanskis
I am a new Lynch Toyota customer and am very pleased with the help I received from RJ Shemanskis. He went out of his way to provide outstanding service both on the phone and in person. This is how customer loyalty is built. If Lynch Toyota has a program to reward employees for exceptional service, please consider RJ.
Shopping for a new or low mileage used vehicle.
I have been doing business at Lynch Toyota for about 15 years and they have always treated me well. I recently bought a new Four Runner and the same applies. Manager Freddy Figueroa, sales associate Mike Ross, and finance manager Patrick Tyning all worked professionally and efficiently with me to make sure I left a satisfied customer. A very professional, reliable, and friendly group that makes
Service Department Issues
I brought my Prius to Toyota Manchester, Ct because the check engine and service lights came on. I knew it was probably due for an oil change but I wanted to be sure the engine was okay. I mentioned it probably needs and oil change. I also am aware that Prius' are notorious for sensor lights going off. They said they flushed the gas line saw nothing and that they thought it might be the gas cap that was triggering it. Mind you this is a $140.00 diagnostics so is it or isn't it? They said probably no solution. Driving it less than a day later I had an exclamation light going off in a triangle on the dashboard that I had not had before I took it to Toyota. I called them and said I wanted it looked at again and to not be charged since less than a day after they had it I had more issues. They argued about diagnosing it "free" (they charged me $140.00 initially and didn't diagnose it). After much bantering they finally agreed to give it a second look. They said it needed an $1100.00 charcoal canister. I said no I don't think that is the issue and took it home. My boyfriend noticed when I stop and go the new light went on and the engine was ticking. He checked it and said it had ZERO oil. $30.00 of oil later my car is fine. I took it to a specialist with a check engine light on they didn't check the oil????? Really? They tried to get me to replace the charcoal canister for $1100.00 and all it needed engine oil. AMAZING.......
New Toyota Yaris Hatchback 2020
I had a great experience while purchasing my new Toyota Yaris Hatchback 2020. My assigned sales person Heather Lucas was a key component in making the high quality experience possible. She was very friendly, attentive and quite knowledge. She sought every possible way to resolve whatever issues that arose. My assigned Finance Manager Patrick Tyning was instrumental in expediting the financing process and making it as painless as possible. Overall, I highly recommend Lynch Toyota.

4th or 5th car we have bought from Karl Peterson III at Lynch Toyota. They are a great combination and I would recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a car, SUV or truck. Everyone has been great to deal with from the start to the finish of the process of buying a Toyota. Service folks are great also. No, I'm not related anyone at the dealership.
