If there was an option to give NO STARS for a rating on
If there was an option to give NO STARS for a rating on Kolosso dealership THAT is the rating I would give. They do not deserve even one star. They would not close on a car purchase UNLESS you are there in person to sign documents. That's fine, I had to arrange a plane flight to get there because I live in Kansas (not Wisconsin). They gave two options to purchase, either a wire transfer of funds or a cashier check from a National Banking Institute, like Chase Bank. Thats fine. I didn't want the wire transfer option because they REQUIRED that the wire transfer occur two days prior to my arrival at the dealership (to give the funds time to complete) and I did not want to PAY IN FULL for a vehicle that I have yet to even test drive. I told the sales manager , Trista, that I opened an account with a "Chase Bank" (knowing that the town of Appleton Wisconsin HAS a Chase Bank) and that I chose the option of the cashiers check from my Chase Bank in my town. She said that they would NOT be able to accept a cashier's check from MY Chase Bank in Manhattan, Kansas... but that I would have to get a cashier's check from the Chase Bank in THEIR town of Appleton, Wisconsin. She said they do not accept out of state checks. I would understand that if the check was anything other than a CASHIERS CHECK (which is equal to money in hand). She gave me the phone number of the Appleton Chase Bank and advised that I call them to make sure that I would be able to get a cashiers check from THAT specific Chase Bank. So when I called that specific Chase Bank.... the bank representative told me "you don't have to get a cashiers check from the APPLETON Chase Bank... you can just go to your Manhattan, Kansas, Chase Bank to get a cashiers check. I told the bank rep that the sales lady at Kolosso Dealership had said the cashiers check HAD TO be issued from the Appleton Wisconsin Chase Bank or they wouldn't accept it. He said that "a cashiers check is the same as cash" AND that "it makes no difference if you get it issued from a Chase Bank in Manhattan, Kansas, or if you got it issued from a Chase Bank in Appleton, Wisconsin. So I called the Kolosso dealership to let them know what I had been told by the Chase Bank of their town. Another sales manager, Mike, said "Look, I have told you how we do business to buy the car, and now you are trying to side track and do it the way you want, so I'm just going to give your $1000 dollar deposit back and you can do business elsewhere". OH MY GOD! Seriously! All I was doing was following up to let them know what BOTH Chase Banks told me (that I could get a cashiers check from my town Chase branch and that it would be exactly the same). But this guy Mike, said that if there were any "illegal issues" with the cashiers check from my town Chase Bank cashiers check than their dealership legal department would not have a way to protect the dealership. I asked what could possibly be an illegal issue with a cashiers check ... and I suggested they CASH MY CASHIERS CHECK that I bring while I wait at their dealership prior to closing the deal.... so they would KNOW that my cashiers check is LEGAL!!! He said no, that I WOULD HAVE TO get the cashiers check from THEIR TOWN and that he offered to give me a ride from the airport to their Chase Bank to get a cashiers check from THEIR TOWN! Then he said we will accommodate you "as much as possible". when I asked him what he meant by "as much as possible", (I wanted to know what would NOT be possible) then he got RUDE and said he would be refunding me my $1000 dollar deposit. What a freak! These people are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and RUDE RUDE RUDE to deal with. I recommend that you NEVER EVER do business with this dealership.

Oh wow! Kolosso responded by saying that you "really did do everything you could to accommodate my situation".... but the truth is EVERYONE who is considering doing business with Kolosso Jeep Dodge Ram in Appleton Wisconsin.... you need to know that the DID NOT do everything they could to accommodate my situation!!!! And that is NOT a sincere apology in their response back to me... to tell me that they apologize things didn't work out to my liking!!!! NO ONE WOULD HAVE THEIR LIKING WORK OUT WHEN THE SALES MANAGER SHUTS THE DEAL DOWN just because he didn't like my question! It would have been my liking to BUY THE CAR that I was TRYING TO BUY!!! But it was Mike the sales manager who was so rude and unprofessional and downright MEAN to say to me that they were not going to sell to me the car I wanted .... all because I asked what he meant when he said "we can help you AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE". Beware of this entire business at Kolosso since the owners allow the sales manager to treat customers in such an unprofessional and downright mean manner!
