Buyer beware on using the West Herr online trade-in value price. I put in my vin and had to put in my phone and email to get my results. I was called 5 times, texted and emailed on how they need my trade. That was really not huge as I am already actively looking and all ready preapproved. The price they gave me online was fair market value for my trade so I got ahold of them on my terms and not play the pressure games. They offered me 12000 less then what they offered me to get me in the door. I had all my documents to prove the value of my truck to include my financial companys and West Herr's printout. After back and forth and spending 4 hours with them a manager came out to explain that he has to change all the tires out to factory because of liability so that was 3 or 4 grand. Funny thing is I just had new tires put on at Towne Ford the day before. Factory 20 inch rims. It has passed every NYS inspection. He told me its because they came factory with a 265 and I have 275's on the rims. What ! He also stated that is was in a moderate accident which it was. When it was new and a previous owner it got hit on the front bumper and caused 4000 in damage. Its a $95000 GMC 2500HD Denali.....that's a scratch in the paint and a bumper with labor ! The real problem is he showed me a copy of the car fax but tried to hide the damage part with a car graffic that showed rear damage not my trucks Yes..altered the car fax to justify low balling me...not even my truck ! I have purchased several vehicles from West Herr to include my Durango SRT...so I have spent some money with them ! I never had an issue till now. I never will again if this is what my business means to them ! Please if you decide to go to West Herr research everything prior so you are not taken advantage of !
