Problem Not Resolved

I absolutely do not recommend Cardinale Nissan in Seaside, CA for auto service. I took my Nissan Altima in because the check engine light was on. I was quoted a price of $184 upon dropping my car off. Three days later I receive a call that I need $416 repairs in order to resolve the engine light issue. Three days after that I received another call, not that my car was ready for pick up, but that additional work needed to be done bringing the cost up to $2,100 in repairs. I had to draw the line because even if I authorized the $2,100 repairs they could not guarantee that those repairs would resolve the issue. I felt like they were on a wild goose chase to find the reason the check engine light was on that did not appear to be a cost effective method. I have since picked up the car. The check engine light is still on. I am taking it to another auto service business to solve the issue.

What a change they've made!

I bought a car here YEARS ago. I brought it in for service and after the experience vowed NEVER to go back. I told the manager his dealership was the best advertisement for Toyota. I needed to get my car tuned up including new brakes and shocks. I called and set up appointment for the next day. When I got in my car the sound was so bad, I asked if I could bring it in a day early. I did, they took me where I needed to go. Everything was professional, friendly, and quick. I couldn't believe it. Technicians were great and so was the front of house and management, where the problem was before, Good Job Cardinale!

Expectional service

Great place very welcoming atmosphere.. definitely buying from Nissan seaside .. sales and finance went out of their way to make sure I left with a car and yes i did .

Read Everything

Make sure that you READ EVERYTHING that you sign. They will "explain things to you" but they will leave things out. If you have questions, ask. Don't get roped into something you didn't want.

No pressure - fair deal

Sales people spent quality time, no pressure, and we drove 3 vehicles where we wanted - very nice. We found what we liked, discussed our terms, and everyone walked away happy. Very good experience.

Friendly but made Assumptions

Friendly dealership and the facilities were excellent . The salesman was persistent online and I received messages stating - what can I do to earn your business ? I suggested coming down at least 2,000 on a used vehicle and I Woud walk on lot again . My suggestion was based on at least 5 other vehicles in general area ... same make / model and similar mileage . Those 5 cars were 3-6 thousand less expensive . In under thirty minutes he emailed back that they could come down 2 thousand . I didn't reply back , But walked into lot some thirty minutes later . The vehicle was in same condition as 24 hours earlier - dirty in and out , and looked like it might have needed a tune up under the hood . I said nothing about that . Later I asked in office what total would be out the door with tax ...title .. Now I realized I was some $ 1300-1500 over my budget and chose to decline . He said - ok make me another offer ... and I did . Later he brought his boss in . This gentleman said - " We worked very hard on this deal and I need you to honor your word !" I looked at him in amazement and reminded him that I never promised anything other than walking onto the lot . He eventually backed off . We talked a bit more, but I chose to pass . The next morning I found my car - same make / model ....mileage for my target price plus a lifetime power TR warranty . I found it interesting that Nissan of Seaside assumed they had a deal and went as far to question my integrity . I can only conclude that perhaps they were desperate for a deal .

Seller den is very nice guy. But he talk a lot. I think all American customer like that.i recommend go to buy this dealer. All dealer finical manager is so dangerous because they need extra money they sell mainthei package .

Good, Friendly, Curteous, Helpful, Patient

My husband and I recently purchased a car from Cardinale Nissan. It was our second car purchase and both purchases were handled professorially and accurately. Our salesman Edrick was a joy to work with, he was patient while we changed our minds about a dozen times. They gave us a good deal and the whole experience was great. I would recommend this dealership and will use them again in the future.

Professional Service, Firendly staff, Helpful

I have bought over 8 cars with Cardinale and I have never been treated better! I think they are awesome. When my son turned 16 we got his first car which was used and it is still running today. He is 29 but now drives a BMW. We have always let them know what we are looking for and they have always found it at a much better deal. I have been happy with their service dept. Now granted I'm not just talking Nissan because they got me BMW as well as a Volkswagen. Just check them out before you buy elsewhere.. Owner is a family man who has a family and cares about the safety of your car. :-)

great experience, friendly, kind, Good deal

Sam and Martin were great. We were greeted immediately as we walked into the showroom. Sam walked the entire lot until he found the perfect car for me, and Martin worked until all parties agreed on the appropriate amount. The overall experience was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a car dealership. Thanks!
