My husband and I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Wrangler
My husband and I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Wrangler from Tallahassee Ford. Within 48 hours, the check engine light came on due to a cylinder 2 misfire, and the experience since then has been nothing short of frustrating. I didn’t personally interact with him, but my husband told me about his encounter with Diego Cabrera when he returned to the dealership to address the issue — and I was shocked by how disrespectful and unhelpful he was. Diego reportedly showed zero empathy, was arrogant and dismissive, and made no real effort to help — despite the fact that we had just purchased the vehicle days earlier. I do appreciate that the General Manager reached out personally and promised to help resolve the issue, but we still have not received any follow-up or update since that call. We’ve also filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as we believe no customer should have to fight this hard for support — especially when dealing with a brand-new issue immediately after purchase. At this point, we’re extremely disappointed and hope the dealership follows through on their promises.

I purchased a 2021 Jeep Wrangler with only 18,000 miles
I purchased a 2021 Jeep Wrangler with only 18,000 miles from Tallahassee Ford. Within 48 hours, the check engine light came on with a cylinder 2 misfire. I immediately contacted the dealership and was told it would be sent to a local Jeep dealer for repair since it was under manufacturer warranty. What followed was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. I had to fight just to get a loaner vehicle, despite the issue happening immediately after purchase. I received no follow-up, no urgency, and no accountability from the Ford team. They sold me a vehicle that clearly had a problem and then completely disengaged from the process, leaving me to chase down the Jeep dealer and corporate myself. It’s now been over 5 days and the vehicle still hasn’t even been diagnosed. I expected more from a Ford dealership when buying a low-mileage vehicle. If this is how post-sale support is handled, I would strongly encourage others to think twice before purchasing here.

I purchased a 2022 Ford Ranger Lariat new in 2022.
I purchased a 2022 Ford Ranger Lariat new in 2022. It has the 20 year warranty on it for the power train. My entire transmission went out in this truck. I've tried several times to get a hold of someone to resolve this issue. I've left several voice-mails but no one returns my call. Please be aware that if you buy a 40 to 50 k truck brand new that this dealer or Ford as a company will hang you out to dry. As a further update to my review the dealer did reach out to me and a sales manager Diego Cabrera cussed me out. As a potential customer I would emplore you to please do your research on Ford 10 speed transmissions. There are several class action law suits involving the 10 speed transmission in the Ranger and F-150. As a professional business that put a bogus 20 year powertrain warranty on a defective vehicle you'd think that they would attempt to resolve this as opposed to calling me and cussing me out. This is the caliber of dealer that they are and the type of brand that Ford Motor Company has become.

Very disappointed in my experience with Tallahassee Ford.
Very disappointed in my experience with Tallahassee Ford. I purchased a new 2024 vehicle that had been used as a loaner. The windshield was damaged at the time of sale. I was told by both Sales Manager Diego and Salesperson Al that someone would contact me locally for the repair since I live almost 3 hours away. I had to follow up with the dealership several times before they decided to send me a check to cover the cost of the repair. During the repair process, the windshield cracked further to the point it needed to be replaced. The Sales Manager told me they are refusing to cover the replacement. I’m returning the check, as I don’t agree with that being the final resolution. I was also charged for an extended warranty I did not agree to. The signing took place on a small electronic tablet that made it difficult to review the documents. Diego high-fived me and said he “got me” an extended warranty, and I thought perhaps it was a bonus for buying a new vehicle that was used as a loaner. This was after I clearly declined additional coverage during negotiations and Diego had even told me I could buy an extended warranty in the future. I’ve since canceled it along with other warranties that weren’t accurately presented. They also did not give me the $500 military appreciation discount I’m eligible for as the spouse of a retired military member. Lastly, I was never told the factory warranty had already started almost 7 months before my purchase. I only learned this after calling Ford Customer Care to verify my warranty. This kind of detail should be disclosed up front. Advice to buyers: Ask to review printed copies of every document before signing, and also review the signed copies closely as soon as possible when completed (at the dealership before you leave if possible).

It's a dealership.
It's a dealership. Expect typical sales tactics like keeping you talking and not going over the paperwork in front of you. Expect markups in the moderate to high range ($999 "pre-delivery service charge" and $205 "registration filing fee") among others. But hey, dealership has to make money somehow. Tried to lowball me on my trade in, but I had already gotten three quotes at a higher price including a cash offer in anticipation of this, and so it was an easy hurdle to clear. I wanted to read the contract before we left but it was not gone over with me, instead we rushed through signing and I didn't really get to see what it was as it was all done on a tiny tablet screen. I would have preferred paper because after reading it once it was done, I found they'd added on all the optional extras I had told them not to. I later had to drive back down (40 miles out of my way) to deal with it. They didn't give me much guff and I /had/ wanted the service contract before, but after that "error" I decided to decline it all and take my business elsewhere. They are a business at the end of the day and have to make money, it is what it is. But I put a little too much trust in and was almost out $6,000 or more on stuff I'd stated I wanted to decline. Al was a good guy and treated us nicely despite the chaos, manager whose name I can't recall helped clean up the mess with the contract.

Purchased a vehicle in November, had issues with the electronics before I left the parking lot. After almost 2 months of being at another dealer closer to me ( I am almost 300 miles away from dealer) I decided to cut my losses and sell it. It was at that point I found out Tallahassee Ford put a lien on my title while doing the paperwork, there was no lien. Thanks to my local tag office and the credit union involved after 23 days of diligently working on this the title was free of the lien. The only person from the dealer that even remotely tried to help was my salesperson, but the help that was needed for this was above his level. They didn’t seem to comprehend that the Credit Union that supposedly had the lien was not only in a state without electronic title but they didn’t even have a the vehicle vin to release a lien so this all had to be forced. I would just walk away but now my vehicle took a 3,000 hit on trade value from the beginning to end. I have left messages with the Gsm and the gm, no response. The one manager that answered the phone was trying to talk to me and another person, he could not understand why I did not want to talk to him. I want to know who is going to take responsibility for the mistake the dealer made on the title? Who is going to pay me for the loss of money that had absolutely nothing to do with anything I did? As of today 1/30/24 there has been zero help from the dealer.

Horrible Service
If you buy from this dealer and then need service, there is no such thing as customer service in the service department. Our third Fusion in the shop, but the next vehicle will not be a FORD for this reason alone.
