Shady business
Something a bit shady here, Inventory appears to be decent, saw what I was searching for online, went to dealership to test drive and expressed interest in buying. Salesman said the car just came in and still needed to “go through the shop” and detailed, so I gave him my name and # to call me back when it was “ready”. I called him back 3 days later, he said they found a problem with the alternator and he will call me when it was done. A week later no call, car was still listed as for sale on multiple websites, One site showed it was listed for over 110 days, description had “hurry” as if it would not last. I made 3 more inquiries by phone and internet over past 6 weeks, he gave a new excuse each time, they were “backed up” the power window motor needed to be replaced, then it needed to be inspected. I even told the “salesman” that I have $2,500 cash to put down. Two days later the internet showed price was increased by $500, still no further contact from this “dealership”. If that isn’t shady business practices then I guess I don’t know what is. As of today the vehicle is still on the lot and listed for sale on multiple websites, but it appears this so called dealership is not interested in my business?
