We had been shopping around for a few months for a used car when we stumbled onto this place. Our experience was great every time we talked with them, and it made the buying experience so more enjoyable. They seemed to be very honest, they have stood behind everything they said, and i have even recommended my grown children to check them out when they are looking a used car. Very nice people, and will definitely be back to but from them again.

My car broke down & went to buy a new one & found there was a repo on my credit from cosigning for someone. No dealer in Jacksonville or Wilmington was willing to help me. Grand Slam Auto gave me the runaround for 2 days on a car that wasn't even ready for purchase & was in no hurry to help me!! Walked into Hix Motors, explained my story to the owner & we made a deal. Amazed at the customer service Hix offers. It is hard & very rare to find a dealer that actually cares about the people rather than just the sale. And i didn't have to settle for a car I didn't want, got the car I had been looking for to begin with & I love it! Seriously, hats off to Hix Motors & the way they run their business. I would come back & recommend anyone, any day!

Mr Hix and his son are two of the finest people I have ever delt with in the auto business. You can trust their integrity to help you find a good vehicle at a fair price. They are helpful but not the least bit pushy. They want you to be happy and be a return customer. They do not take advantage of the young Marines in the area, as I have seen and heard about other dealers who do! This dealership is by far one of the best used car lots around! We bought a truck from Mr.Hix and when my husband discovered an issue with the truck and talked to the owner and son, they immediately made the correction. Extremely honest, which is rare around here. I would and already have, recommend this dealership to friends and anyone who is looking for a decent used vehicle at the actual Kelly blue book price!
