Came in for an oil change, new wiper blades, & tire rotation. Ended up having to leave my car overnight. The tech discovered that the last time I had my... oil changed (at Firestone on 76th St) they damaged the relief valve in the oil adapter housing. Next day had to pay $1105.03 for what I came in for plus the discovered damage. I filed a claim with Firestone. I hope the tech who worked on my car at Holz will be able to assist in getting my money back for the repair.

More than two weeks ago, I made an appointment for a routine oil change/lube/filter, plus tire rotation, on my Buick Encore. I made this appointment online... for today, Thursday, May 28, at 2 pm. I drove nearly 20 miles to get to Holz -- and arrived at 1:57 pm. Already, a line of vehicles was gathering at the service entrance. While waiting to gain entrance to the service department, I noticed, at one point, that the line of vehicles almost stretched out to Forest Home Ave. I was able to draw close enough to see inside the service area entryway. There, I noticed three employees standing at the east end of the garage, doing nothing but visiting. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I finally drove off -- at least with an understanding of why it costs almost $60 (after taxes) for the routine work described above (so that customers can subsidize do-nothing employees, apparently discussing last night's episode of "How to Get Away with Murder"). Boy, this shop is getting away with something.

Went in August for oil change . Ended up needing new brakes they replaced my brakes . It’s now December same year I need new brakes again cause they didn’t... tell me I need a calibrator . Which work out my brakes . They didn’t do anything when called to let them know . So I’m out another 500 for new brakes

I am having the unfortunately common problem with my side mirrors, front camera and proximity alert all being out of service because of a poorly designed... control module that gets corroded and stops working. So far I have paid 130 bucks to find out that what I thought was broken was broken and now I am a little over two weeks waiting for those module to come back into stock in the Chicago land distribution center. So all the extra safety items that I paid for on my Impala have been down now for two months with the exception of the rear camera which works - though it's proximity sensor doesn't. This isn't the dealership fault per say but this module should be recalled if so many have broken that they can't keep the part in stock. I am not a happy customer... This seems such a common problem I think they should look at it first which would take what... ten minutes and not have me bother dropping my car off to figure it out. I am going to complain to NHTSA.

I came in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation and to have 2 recalls looked at. One was visually inspected ok. And a brake pedal recall that included... inserting a new bolt and adding lock tight to the threads. A total of 2hrs. sitting around waiting for the work to be done. It shouldn't have taken that long. Could have done the work myself in less than 1hr..
