Great service

I brought my 2012 Passat in to get a light changed out--and was pleasantly surprised to find that the car had been washed inside and out upon completion. The service staff is terrific and kept me informed. Won't ever go anywhere else with service this great!

As soon as I walked into the dealership I was welcomed as if I arrived home for Christmas. Stephen was an excellent salesman who took me through all the options on my car and made sure I understood everything. Clarice and the sales manager were also very kind and made me feel very welcome. A great dealership to purchase from or have your car worked on. Will recommend to all.

I bought a used Audi TT Quattro from this dealership, my salesperson was Joe Tante “JT”. They made it seem like they were going over to fix problems with the car, I even addressed some problems I had found. Not only did they not fix the ones I found (Which they said they would), it broke down the VERY NEXT DAY, and they refused to take any responsibility for it. I had to pay $432 to fix the problem. Shortly after, not even a week, more troubles arose. Low oil pressure light, and the thermostat was not working. JT told me to come in that day and they would look at it. What a lie, I came in and they rejected me because I didn’t have an appointment, so I wasted an entire hour and a half driving there and back in a car I wasn’t sure was safe. I am now having to pay $1800 to fix the problems with a car I owned less than 3 weeks. All in all, they are disorganized, dishonest and don’t seem to care too much about customer satisfaction. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there, and I’ve spread word around base of my dilemma.

Great Service!!!

I recently traded in my xxxxx. car for a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta. Our dealer was great, the accounting part of it was as easy as it could be, and I got a fantastic deal on my car. My only complaint was I don't think they gave me enough on my trade-in but I got such a great price on the Jetta that I was willing to give a little bit. Great experience and I definitely recommend Low Country VW!

Called on New Years Eve, needed several parts and some tires. Billy took the call, got me in the store, set the expectation for cost and time and was 100% transparent about what my car needed and how long it would cost. He even saved me some money (around 30% vs. quotes I had received from other garages for the same work. I live out of town but if I was a local I would use this dealership for my service on my Jetta. Great job Billy, you took my average expectations and blew them away with your service.

The dealership will not stand behind their products. We purchased a used car and were not shown all the defects. When we asked for them to be taken care of and fixed, we were told no.

I was in the market for a 2012 GTI when I found the trim I wanted at Low Country VW. I went in, had my trade in appraised and negotiated a little bit. First off- They down right insulted my intelligence by offering my 1300$ for my car that I later sold to Carmax for 4000$ even. No hassle. Then when I tried to walk out it took them 30 minutes to get my keys back to me from the employee that inspected my vehicle. During that time they revamped their offer to 3300$ on my trade and would not budge a cent on a 24,895$ sticker price of their GTI. Which is about 1,200$ above invoice listed on VW's web site and still 500$ above their MSRP. Called me repeatedly at times later than 8pm on a week night, still offering to make me a "sweet deal". Never Budged a DOLLAR off sticker price. Mind you they still wanted dealer fee's tax tags and title and the like. The Giant finance manager that I spoke to sat behind his desk and openly admitted to knowing nothing about the cars he sold and tried to show me some "math" on why my offers were outrageous. Then when countered with research I could pull up on my smartphone via KBB and Edmunds he claimed that those values weren't worth anything because its just the internet. So in Summary- Customer service; terrible. the salesman stared at me blankly when I asked most of my questions. friendliness; so good that they liked to call me late in the evening overall experience? I felt insulted and infuriated by their apparent lack of interest in the world around them. price; WORST THING YET. highest initial sticker prices I've seen and good luck getting them to come off them.

We wanted to trade my 2007 Wolfs-burg add in for a 2011. We met w/ Steven R and this man was professional, patient, friendly, knowledgeable and a wonderful person! We later met Lane, Clarion, Sharon, etc etc. These people were super nice! We were later called back after the sale to re sign paper work because we were informed we were charged a bit too much for our gap insurance. Sharon, the receptionist was so sweet and awesome with my son. They talked about his book and she recommended a few others he may like. We talked with Steven, Lane, Eddie, Clarion, and a few others. We soon learned that it also just happened to be customer appreciation day at Low Country VW. Blaine put ketchup ona hot dog for my daughter and got both of my kids a juice. Overall, satisfaction s way off the charts with this dealership and all of the professional, nice, positive, amazing people that work there! We mostly dealt with Steven R and he is one heck of an awesome person and sales man! We would definitely deal with this dealership again AND recommend to many friends, family members. Actually, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great price and confident, professional, friendly service!!! Thanks, Carol and Chris Moore
