The staff I interacted with were very rude from even before I brought my car in, and seemed to resent me asking about the details of my warranty, and were not forthcoming with any clarity on whether my issue may or may not be covered (even though I acknowledged that it would have to be diagnosed first). After bringing my car in, I received a text with a video describing a diagnosis that would almost certainly be covered by my Subaru Gold warranty. Shortly afterwards, I got a phone call informing me that I owed money for the diagnosis, which I understood to be covered by the warranty (with a deductible) . When I tried to ask for an explanation, I was met with hostility. I was transferred to another employee, who gave me an explanation that seemed to contradict the diagnosis video I received. While refusing to answer my questions, the staff accused me of refusing to pay, and told me to leave and never bring my car back. I was flabbergasted. When I asked for the write-up from my visit, they refused to provide it, even threatening to call the police if I didn't leave. I had to call to Subaru Corporate from inside the dealership before they acquiesced and gave me a copy of the paperwork from my visit. The write-up that they didn't want to show me completely contradicted the video that I received from the technician. Absolutely horrible experience.

My loyalty to Subaru is based on two factors first it’s an excellent brand and second which is equally as important is that Rosemarie and her service department is the best service department i have ever experienced. They are honest and ethical and their mechanics do everything right the first time.

Prestige Imports has provided me with excellent service
Prestige Imports has provided me with excellent service for 33 years, when I bought an Alfa Romeo. While servicing VWs is a challenge, they were able to fix them. Subarus are far more stable than VWs but complex issues arise that Prestige seems able to fix— at a reasonable cost.
