May 12 Bought a 2004 Frontier from A&P Auto Sales for $9,100. I understood when I bought it that the check engine light was on. The seller deducted $200 from the sales price to cover cost of fixing check engine light to which I agreed. March 15 took the truck to my mechanic in the town where I live. March 30 he told me it needed a knock sensor which was tripping the check engine light March 31 took back to A&P they fixed the knock sensor and only charged me half (about $350). June 4 truck broke down. Towed to A&P. A&P replaced starter fixed at cost ($100). To this point, I’ve spent $9,550 And have driven it about 300 miles. June 12 I took the truck to Mike and told him I wasn’t happy with the purchase. Instead of asking for my money back, I asked if he’d pay $7,500 (his cost) to buy the car back to which he laughed and said “I’ll give you $6,000.” Now let’s look at this offer. And you judge if it’s fair. He paid $7,500 for the truck. With his half of the additional expenses, he has about $7,950 in it and sold it to me for $9,100, so I knew he profited from the original transaction. His offer of $6,000 was $1,500 less than he paid for the truck a month ago. $3,550 less than I had in the truck. $3,100 less than I paid for it one month (and now 400 miles) The offer doesn’t recognize the fact that this is a better truck than I originally bought and I have $450 more invested in it. The offer also doesn’t recognize the fact that he already made a profit off me on the original sale, even with the extra money he put in it. Knowing I’d get no better offer anywhere, I sold the truck back to him for $6,500. My decision but if you have a car of questionable quality, what option do you have but to go back to the original seller? Did I make a mistake in buying this truck? Yes. Do I object to a small business making a profit? No Was I treated fairly by Mike? I’ll let you decide.

Bought a truck here
My son was looking for a used truck for his 16th birthday and found one on Cars.com at A&P. I called to asked if it was still on the lot and is was so we made appointment to see Danny the following day. He was busy when we arrived but did greet and gave us the keys for a test drive. Tim was also very helpful while Danny was busy. Great customer service and friendly employees. I would recommend this dealer to anyone searching for a used vehicle. I did purchase the truck and my son is one happy 16 year old!! Thanks Danny and Tim Heather

Can not as enough good things about my experience with A and P Automotive. I emailed about the price of a car I saw on cars.com, they responded immediately. When we went to look at the vehicle the sales associate was fantastic, he answered all my questions and never "pushed" me into buying the car.... but we did! Not very helpful
It took several days for them to email me back. When they did finally email they simply said the car I was interested in wasnt available for financing. They didn't offer for me to consider any other vehicles.
