Shifty Car Sales

I bought a car recently with these people and I am telling you they will put you in an unsafe vehicle with no problem. I bought a 2016 Jeep Compass from them. There was a rattling so they said they would have it looked at. Next day they said it was just the age of vehicle. They had the front end all fixed previously and it was good. Mike, the manager verified this. Go forward, rattling got worse so I took it to my mechanic and found out one engine mount was completely broken. Another was on the way to breaking. Then my tags are set to expire and I still have no paperwork. I have called numerous times and they always tell me the guy is not there. Finally I got ahold of Mike and he tells me it is ok to drive on expired tags. But I will need to call Luke. You know...the guy who is never there. I ask him to put me on a call list for Luke and his response is he can try. I ask why that would be an issue as it is their job....had to pay $250 for this service...he says it is not his job and hangs up on me. I did not cuss at him or say anything other than it is their job to get me the documents I need to drive the car I bought.

Find another used car dealer

These guys must be the poster boys for the used car dealers your mother warned you to stay away from. Look you straight in the eye and fib about what they will do and what you should expect. Starts with the price which is supposed to be negotiable and isn't and goes downhill from there, all the while saying everything that needs cleaned will be cleaned and NTB will fix everything they find wrong will be fixed...NOT ! If NTB did do the inspection how did they miss the rear end seal was leaking fluid. So bad odds are I left a trail from the dealer to my house. Both front axles boots were gone and along with all the grease and loads of axle parts. The gas tank shield problem could allowed heat from the exhaust to boil the gas out of the tank had I driven it long enough. There was so little fuel in the tank the low gas light came about a mile down the freeway on my way home. At least that works. A few minutes later the air bag light on the dash popped on. The people who actually inspected the car stated I was lucky to make it to their shop. Hatfield has so far not said what they are going to do about this hot mess. Bet I never hear from them.

Hatfield used cars - no bueno

Rude, treat people like dirt , don’t waste your time and money ... ridiculous We were shopping for a larger vehicle, we have a special needs granddaughter who has lots of equipment to port. Salesman told us it was the end of the month so to make an offer the cars would be deeply discounted and they needed to make room. So we came in on the last day of July and picked one to buy cash marked 5995 OBO. We were made to talk to a gentleman in a trailer that was very condescending and rude, I’m not sure why makybe he was tired , but I stopped his rhetoric and asked him to just talk to me straight , just the facts, and how much was getting me the title? After some grunts and moans he holds up a calculator that reads 6862.. I ask what the extra charges are and he again gets upset saying “ I know what I’m doing, I’ve been doing this 30 years bub!” We has enough and went to make our way out, my wife pulling me out the door she knows one thing I can’t stand is being disrespected, the other is lies. This fella had just laid a one two punch of both for no reason, I just met him . Had cash in hand , and didn’t want to be there almost as much as him. Unacceptable, inexcusable, you would have thought I kicked his dog. I reached out to the owner , but have not heard back. During our search we went to six dealerships , no one absolutely no one else acts this way, even the little dirty ones in the bad parts of town.. even they know what salesmanship and courtesy is. We went back to one of those and bought the same model car , cash , with no issue at all. It’s now 11 days later and have yet to be contacted by management. I don’t usually leVe these reviews but I worked for every dollar of the 10k I walked in there with and I imagine another fella throwing his hard earned money to them just to get sand kicked in his face as well

DO NOT BUY !!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE ! They sold me a 2006 Dodge Charger srt it cut off 3 days after driving I took it back to them they kept it for a week and said NTB seen no problems it cut off the 2 days later again tried reaching no response. I finally get ahold of the boss and he tells me he will straighten it out and to get it towed to NTB again. I get it towed to NTB, then NBT calls me back two weeks later asking why I dropped my car off and they contacted the boss and he said he doesn’t know anything about. This place is a joke and is out to get people knowing this stuff could really hurt peoples credit.

Rust cover up

Purchased a 2004 one owner truck from Ron on 3/28/18. I felt I received a fair deal. I was very specific with them that I was looking for a rust free or as little rust as possible vehicle and do not mind paying for it. They were very nice and professional and did take care of a brake issue I discovered on a test drive. Once I arrived home I found a small rust spot that I wanted to have fixed before it got out of hand, at my expense. Ron recommended a painter that does work for them at the dealership. I did meet with the painters at the dealership, the painters showing me several other vehicles on the lot that they covered up rust showing me the quality of their work, NOT REPAIRED but covered with bondo. I agreed to have the rust repaired but they asked me to remove the top rails and fender flares. After removing the rail covers there were two 3 inch rust holes under the the rails. Upon further inspection I found the rust cover up to be extensive with four holes that were covered up and the fender wells filled with dondo. I asked the painters if they fixed the rust before I purchased the truck and they said they do not remember. I did speak with Ron about the rust issue and he did ask "what I wanted" and if I wanted to trade the truck in again. After seeing the rust cover-ups, I elected not to deal with Hatfield a second time and cut my losses.

Best place to purchase a vehicle

Mike was an awesome salesman. He had the vehicle ready for me to test drive and he explained the vehicle options. There was no pressure to buy and he made sure my needs were met. I wouldn?t consider anyone other than the Hatfield name.

GREAT SERVICE EXCELLENT JOB BY THE HATFIELD STAFF!

I Recently purchased a 2007 Honda Accord. The Hatfield staff was very friendly and helpful. We visited several dealerships during our search for our new pre owned vehicle and Hatfield was the only dealership who helped us obtain financing. I already have recommended them to my friends and family.
