Another great experience at Mayo Motors. A few years back my wife and I bought an '07 Subaru Impreza which we have just loved. We needed to replace our aging Legacy and purchased a beautiful Black 2013 Nissan Altima today. The car looks brand new both inside and out and runs beautifully. I think both times I worked with Tony I was driving home our 'new' car in less than and hour. Tony takes all the anxiety out of what can be a stressful experience and actually makes it something you look forward to. things started out good when I first stopped in. Chris showed me the vehicle I was interested in and took me for a test drive while Tony evaluated my trade in. No pressure from Chris while showing me the vehicle and I got a reasonable trade in value for my vehicle. I went home and talked things over with my wife and decided to buy from Mayo. The next day I went back and negotiated a deal quickly with Tony. very easy to deal with. Went back Saturday to sign all the paper work. As my wife and I got up to leave in our new vehicle Chris informed us they only had 1 key for the vehicle. this vehicle has a smart key and as I found out will cost me several hundred dollars to get another key made. I feel all honesty and integrity they had went right out the window by waiting until everything was complete to tell us about only 1 key. Had I known this beforehand I would have tried to negotiate the cost of the key into the deal. I will never go back or recommend this dealer to anyone else.

I saw the car I wanted online (originally on CarGurus). I called to make sure was still available and spoke with Tony. Hopped in my car with my daughter and drove the hour to get there. As I looked at the car in the lot, Tony came out and addressed me by name. He answered several questions I had about the car in a very nonchalant, matter-of-fact manner. Not once did he try to sell. He let the car do the talking. I then asked for a test drive. He took my license, went in and made a copy, then came out and gave me the keys. My daughter hopped in the front passenger side. I was waiting for Tony to get in when he said, "just go wherever you want and come back when you're ready." Huh?! I was jettisoned into The Twilight Zone of car dealers. I came back, did a more thorough review of the car, then asked if he could put it on the garage rack so I could see the undercarriage. Bam!...His associate immediately pulled it in and up it went so I could inspect. We went inside and I signed the papers. When I told Tony the gas gauge read less than 35 mile to empty, he quickly left the office and took the car to a nearby station and returned with a full tank of gas. The entire process took less than an hour. Other car dealers would do themselves a huge favor if they followed Mayo's business model and Tony's low key approach. Well done!.
