Does not deserve any stars, not even 1.

Does not deserve any stars, not even 1. Be careful when financing a vehicle with Honda Financial. We purchased a car from Honda in Yuma, AZ in 2023 and purchased GAP insurance through Honda for the vehicle. We recently traded in the vehicle for another vehicle and requested our GAP refund. Mind you, we've only had the vehicle for a little over a year, so we were due a good portion of the remaining GAP. We went in to the dealership to speak to the Finance Person, Rafael Ramirez, and were treated rudely by this man on two occasions. You would have thought we were requesting for him to pay out of his own pocket. He instructed us to return with the Payoff Letter so that he could then begin the refund process. We returned a little over a week later and he was once again very rude. He was defensive and claimed to have instructed me on a warranty and not on the GAP refund. I tried explaining to him that I had no idea we would qualify for a Warranty refund, if we had purchased one, we were there for the GAP because we had the Payoff Letter. He called Honda's Office Manager and was explaining to her that he was being instructed to tell her my version of the way the previous meeting had transpired. I corrected him and told him he did not need to get upset, we weren't being rude and he would not allow us to get in a word edgewise. He said Honda Financial has a "new" policy where the remaining GAP money due to buyers, when a contract is cancelled prior to the fulfillment of the contract, is kept by Honda Financial and deducted from the payoff amount. This in no way benefits the car buyer because the dealerships, on both ends of the transactions when a trade in is made, are the ones who make a profit. I will never purchase from the Honda Dealership in Yuma, their sales and finance departments are unprofessional and rude.
