Royal Honda on veterans blvd in Metairie La is the worst dealership I have ever had to do business with the owner Mike is the worst. The service department are a bunch of crooks that doesn’t know the meaning of customer service.i took my wife car there for a service only to return a couple of days with the same issue and a $2,000 bill they are the worse and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there for a service. Mike,Eric,Chad and staff had me leaving there feeling like they robbed me I will never return to that place again

Royal Honda on veterans blvd in Metairie La is the worst dealership I have ever had to do business with the owner Mike is the worst. I gave them a 1 star rating because you can't give 0

I gave them a 1 star rating because you can't give 0 stars. If you are thinking about buying a car from Royal Honda do yourself a favor and don't. They are the shadiest most dishonest car dealership I have ever dealt with. They seem to have a business model of selling poor quality cars and then milking their customers dry with repairs. I have been driving for over 40 years and have had 6 cars in that time period. None of those cars had nearly as many problems in the years that I drove them than this Honda CRV has had in 4 months. I asked the right questions and read the Carfax and still got ripped off. The service department is a disaster that tries to overcharge for service and always tries to claim that the warranty doesn't cover the problem. The service department is also incredibly unprofessional and difficult to get in touch with. After you leave your car with them be prepared to drive to the dealership for any updates. You can't get them by phone or even leave a message for them because their voice mail is always full. If you are thinking about buying a car from Royal Honda then do yourself a favor and set your money on fire instead. It will save you money, wasted time and aggravation.

I had a terrible experience with the service department

I had a terrible experience with the service department at Royal Honda. I brought in my Ridgeline for an issue with the camshaft and had to constantly follow up with them for two months just to get a response. The head of the service department initially said that the issue was a known manufacturing defect, but later denied it when I reported it to Honda corporate. As a result, the claim was denied and I was left with an unresolved issue. Throughout the whole process, I had to make numerous attempts just to get anyone to call me back at all stages. I used to think that Honda was a reliable brand, but this experience has left me disappointed and frustrated. The lack of accountability, empty promises, and misinformation/lying from the service department make me hesitant to ever buy from Honda or any of its dealers again.

Purchased a brand new car not two months ago.

Purchased a brand new car not two months ago. The front Honda emblem fell off. When I brought this to the attention of Royal Honda and asked for them to replace the emblem, because obviously a part of a brand new car should not fall off, their response was 'well your car must have been in an accident' when I sent photos clearly showing this not to be the case the response then became 'well someone must have stolen the emblem'. When I took the car physically to Royal to be examined and no evidence of theft was present, Royal still took the position that instead of doing the right thing and admitting there was an manufacturimg issue and replacing the part, they demanded that I pay for the new part. Do not go to Royal Honda. They will not stand behind their very own product and will make any and all excuses they can come up with to avoid doing the right thing.

Ask for Gio!

When you are shopping at Royal Honda, make sure to ask for Gerardo (Gio) Martinez. I had a fantastic experience with Gio! From the beginning of the sales process to the final delivery of my vehicle, Gio was professional, friendly, and diligent. He was knowledgeable and responsive to my questions and concerns to ensure I got the car that I was looking for. I bet Gio will do the same for you!

Made an appointment to get my tire changed.

Made an appointment to get my tire changed. I dropped the car off, and they said it won't take more than 90 minutes. After 2 1/2 hours I inquired to find out the progress, only to be told they don't stock that tire. No communication whatsoever and had I not inquired, I’d likely still be there.

Easy to work with and accommodating. Def Recommend

We went in a little anxious about the process, but the sales guy Mike Truxillo and Mgr Alton Clivens took great care of us. They were personable and we ended up buying that day. I also sent my father and brother there and they bought cars too from them. Definitely recommend.

Mgr Alton Clivens and salesman Mike Truxillo were easy to

Mgr Alton Clivens and salesman Mike Truxillo were easy to work with here. We were a lil anxious, but we negotiated a good deal and got it done fast. I definitely recommend them. Alton went over the top and ordered the color my daughter wanted. She loves it. Her friends love it. Parents have been asking me about it. My dad and brother went in and bought from them on my recommendation. Definitely worth giving them a shot.
