Service department hours say they are open until 4pm on Saturdays. Called the day before to try to schedule an appointment for an oil change. I was told... to just come in more than an hour before they close as an oil change is "quick" and I could be fit in. Showed up before 2 pm and was turned away because "mechanics leave at 3:30" and there were 10 cars in front of me so there would not be enough time. If the service department is open until 4, why do the mechanics leave at 3:30? This is very misleading. I normally take the vehicle back to the dealer as I felt the price was worth the quality of service. But the past two experiences at this dealership have been very disappointing. If they are unable to handle even simple service appointments I have very little faith in their capabilities in other matters.
I highly recommend going to Royal Honda for service where you want to ask for ERIC BOWLING for your service advisor. Eric truly cares for his customers... and he has patients to listen to your problem. Eric communicates well between mechanic and customers and gets you a QUALITY no hassle repair. He knows his business and does not try to push you into buying any service he thinks you truly do not need or can do at latter date. FYI I had been to two different my 2005 Element had been to a couple other shops in the area and they out said they did not see a problem or the care was fixed.
We live in Tampa now and looked for a new Honda there, but we were told that a CRV in the color I preferred was not available. We returned to our home... in New Orleans and went back to Royal Honda where we had bought several new cars before. Jared Hotard, an excellent sales person, was available and we were glad to see each other again. There on the showroom floor was exactly the car I had decided I wanted! It had extras - running board, roof rack, and gold striping on the sides! It is my new car.

They are not willing to negotiate and offered an insulting amount for our trade in. Also, my in-laws felt like they were being talked down to when they... went there to purchase a van.
My salesman Felipe was awesome! Asked what I was looking for, assisted me immediately and was a no pressure salesman. When it came time to purchase, very... easy, no haggling and in and out in less than an hour! Anthony, my F&I associate worked on getting the best cost and was super friendly and easy to talk to. Overall great buying experience!

Pleased with my new 2018 Ridgeline, but on my 1st service to get oil changed, the vehicle had oil leak. In talking with the service manager, the oil on... the ground was residue left on the engine frame, and not from the oil filter. Very sloppy work.

My family has purchased a few vehicles with Royal and our experiences have been first class, because of Danny Nuccio. He makes the customer feel as though... he is their personal salesman, and always goes above and beyond. His personal service style and straight forward communication will have us going back to Royal again. If you are looking to buy or even just test drive, he is the man to go to. His job is to keep the customer from going elsewhere, and after your experience with him, you won't want to. Thanks Danny for always being there for my family, even for the small requests.

4/26/2018 - My experience could not have been any better. In and out within an hour. The only dealership that gave me a fair price from the get go. ... No haggling. Old school sales, professional staff, a good vibe from the moment you walk in the door. I went all over the place, even to Baton Rouge, only to find the best deal 20 minutes from home. Lesson learned! Customer for life. I was assisted by Alton and Danny and could not have been more pleased (and I am truly hard to please). Andrea Pieri.
