Worst Experience

I had a terrible terrible experience with this dealer while I took my car to service. They did a very expensive repair, but it did not last more than week. Now they are not willing to take responsibility of their mis-diagnostics and un necessary works. The service workers either do not know what they are doing or do sloppy works. While raising the concern to managements, they are little to no helps. Taking this to BBB and others where I found numerous complaints against this dealership. I wish I did some research about this service center before I go at a first end.

My wife and I were looking seriously at buying a used

My wife and I were looking seriously at buying a used 2017 Suburban, and the same day we had planned on this, the vehicle experienced some pretty catastrophic engine failure. Our Salesman was upfront and honest with us, and still arranged for us to see the Suburban so we could at least experience the interior and lay eyes on it for ourselves. Everyone was kind and accommodating to us. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on their inventory from now on.

Rude Finance Manager

Finance manager was very rude. I have a credit score of 830 and I can take my business elsewhere. There is no reason to treat a customer this way.

BEWARE

The purchase process was decent everything's fine, the dealership promised to replace a side mirror that had enough damage to not pass inspection and thank God I required them to provide documentation of that promise because two months later nothing has been sent. I also have my temporary tags expired and I've been promised on three different occasions that they will be sent out only to have a promise for someone to call me back. It is now day 4 since these tags have expired in the check for the mirror replacement was promised on last Thursday as was a follow-up call regarding the plates.. still NOTHING from no one.. unless you live in Houston steer clear of purchasing anything from this dealership without the ability to walk in and speak directly to someone. You'll get the run around and empty promises... We are now venturing upon the line of a breach of contract on their end as well as the fact that I'm unable to pursue plates on my own given that the vehicle will not pass inspection due to the side mirror. Definitely making the cfpb my next contact as well as the better Business bureau

Second time I’ve come here for an express oil change and

Second time I’ve come here for an express oil change and it’s anything but express. You WILL wait 2 hours minimum no matter how many cars are there. The service counter makes you feel like you are disturbing them. I felt like I had a done something wrong by asking for an oil change. I paid to have this service for my Honda, but I’m starting to regret it. What happened to those friendly guys greeting you at the front entrance when they think you’re buying a car? Oh well, guess that was just business.

I come to Gilman Houston for express oil change, but come

I come to Gilman Houston for express oil change, but come to find out I have to wait at 2-3 hrs and I already waited for 2 hrs and still waiting. Anyone who wants to come for express oil change, this is not for you. I had came before and longest waiting was 1&1/2 hrs. Now I know. No more next time.

Gillman Honda

Dino, Saul, and Michael got me through the leasing process and in a new Pilot in a short time. This is the second lease that I have had through them. This is a great staff.

Gillman Honda Service is very unprofessional.

Gillman Honda Service is very unprofessional. I recently took my car in for a tune up it stayed in the parking lot for over a week. I called almost every day with no answer from the Service Advisor Kevin. This place needs to be closed down how do you run a business in this matter.

Horrible experience.

Horrible experience. I was set to purchase a Civic SI from another dealership. The salesman Pablo from Gillman promised me he would get me the car drive out under 40k. I told him I had a deal in the works for just that. He said they would give me a sweet deal. Convinced me to drive out of my way after work for this “deal”. I get there and the first offer is 41k+. xxx! We haggled, but at this point I was just pissed. I walked and lost my deal at the other dealership because I didn’t put money on the deal. So yeah, both Gillman Hondas I went to were shady. Be careful with these guys.
