Purchased a 2013 GMC Sierra 3500HD, VIN 1GT423C82DF113112 June 18, 2019 from Tru Auto. Took it back to them twice for the low coolant notification. (this was within the 30 day warranty they gave me) Said nothing was wrong. Ended up taking it to a diesel mechanic. Diagnosed as head gasket issue. Tru Auto refused to do anything. Filed a complaint thought the Connecticut Motor Vehicle Dept. Once they got involved, Tru Auto took it to Gallagher GMC 10/31/19. Report shows it needs head gasket work. They did not like this answer so took it to Gengras Chevreolet told no issue with the head gasket. They did not do the correct test for a duramax diesel. Tru Auto told the state they would fix it if I got one more certified mechanic to verify it was indeed the head gaskets. Took it to McDermott Auto on 12/3/2019, they said it was head gaskets. Tru Auto still refused to fix it. Had to go to mediation through the Ct motor vehicles. Because of their back log and the pandemic, the hearing was not until July 21, 2020. Tru Auto had to purchase the truck back from me along with all of my expenses. They also failed to give me the correct warranty. Originally said diesels do not have to have a warranty, then gave me a 30 day one. Per the State of Connecticut, a vehicle 6 years or newer (which it was at the time) and over 5,000.00 has to get a 60 day warranty. They were warned by the state about this at the hearing. This truck is now for sale again by them!!! Per the car fax, it is not fixed!! BEWARE!!! It needs head gaskets, a 6,000 - 9,000 job.

Salespeople seemed clueless talking about cars. Told very different things by different people. Changing specifics of deals at the last minute. Just stay away, not the people you want to buy from.

32 days after purchase , haven’t paid trade off . Won’t call back After leaving 4 messages. Have to get DMV involved . I now have to make another car payment and am very worried if they will ever pay it off. I will be visiting the attorney general after DMV take their dealer plates away for stealing my money. Makes me wonder about financial solvency. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

I had a great experience with Tru AutoMall. I went to view a car recently; when I arrived the vehicle was inside, clean, and waiting for me to test drive. After driving the vehicle, there was ZERO pressure to purchase. I wasn't treated like another sale, I was treated with respect and given full disclosure of how the automotive sales business works. Needless to say, but I will...I bought the vehicle the very next day. It wasn't because they sold me the car, they made me feel comfortable enough to spend my money. Honesty, respect, and building sincere rapport goes a long way. Also, I got a fantastic vehicle at an even better price. Thank you Fi, and Sal!

Ended up buying a nice used car from Gino, he's a really great guy. They were very patient and helpful with explaining everything. Sal helped me with financing and they had someone drive up to Mass RMV to register the car for me! before buying i noticed 3 issues (including a bad battery) so they made sure those issues were resolved before i picked up the car. A week after the purchase i noticed one of the tires had a large tear in the bead, and the others didn't look great either. I brought it in and they acknowledged the issue and put 4 new tires on for me! These guys stand by their vehicles for 60 days. Definitely gave me peace of mind.

A friend of mines told me about this dealership because her son brought his Audi from them. I decided to go and check them out after work. Believe it or not they actually have some very nice high end vehicles. I did not think that I was going to buy a car that day! But from the big Hello from the staff there and the low pressure buying experience. I walked out with a 2015 BMW 535I, I love my car!!!

Tru Auto Mall is the definition of a Top Notch dealership! Not only were the car selection amazing with a wide variety they also provided excellent customer service. Denis went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the right used car for me and my family. He gave me suggestions and his advice, but was not pushy what-so-ever. He also accommodated every need I had. Once i fell in love with my 2015 Acura TLX Tech the process was absolutely painless. Like it was true good to be true lol so quick and professional. Great financing options! I would recommend Tru Auto Mall to anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle. Can't wait to my next upgrade because i'll definitely purchase with Tru Auto Mall again. (Trust I was shopping around, test drove numerous cars but nothing compared)
