Good news was a refund of $2,494.
Good news was a refund of $2,494. Bad news was it only came after two letters of complaint to the Arizona Attorney General Office. There has been no personal contact with me from any Cardinal Way employee. In a period of five days, I test drove and priced a used car I wanted at Cardinal Way on Day 1. On Day 3 I prices a similar car at a Phoenix dealer. On Day 4 the Phoenix dealer advised that his car had been sold to another buyer. On Day 5 the Phoenix dealer called to say he had arranged for Cardinal Way to sell me the car I had seen there on day 1 and with no traditional dealer add-ons and he gave me a name at Cardinal to contact. Later the same day I went to Cardinal, got a price (which I later discovered had includes $2,494 for something called AFTS and doc and admin fees) and bought the car. The car was delivered with no second key fob, no maintenance records, some incidental items missing (one rear floor mat, tray in console and tire valve caps and there were three separate noticeable chips in the windshield). The reason for this review is primarily due to the lack of response from Cardinal Way when I asked for clarification or help with deficiencies. The only contact from them was the check which came in the mail with no explanation, which I gratefully accept, however, Mr. Mortier's letter to the AG Office which I received a copy of from the AG was neither completely nor accurate, nor did it credit me with any justification for my issues. Statements like "I take this very seriously" seemed to be geared toward repair of any deficiencies of the dealership's standing with the AG.

I found the listing on cars.com for a clean white 2020 Convirtable Chevy Camero. I made contact with Chase, then I drove in from Tucson. Chase stayed in communication with me through text messages. He was patient, low pressure, but let me know he was there with the Camero. Got there kind of late like 4pm. When I got there, he had the car ready for me, freshly rinsed off. He greeted me with a smile, a firm handshake, and the car-facts report. Took my my driver's license for a quick copy and we were off to test drive the sleek, clean, white convertible Chevy Camero. 🙌 But before that he offered me to take my choice of a cold beverage, and I definitely took him on on his offer and got a diet coke. He didn't tell me where to drive or not to drive. He stated that I should feel very free to jump on the free way. Very easy going young guy. Very friendly. As we were driving, he gave me confidence when he told me that they do a 140 point inspection (if I'm not mistaken on the number of points) We came back, and got started on the paper work. My financial profile isn't the most ideal but after a bit of time and some resourceful tenacity, they were able to get me approved. They let me leave my Camry I came to the dealership in, there at the dealership inside the gates overnight. As we were buttoning up the paperwork, it began to rain. Chase was there with an umbrella to walk me to my (new to me) 2020 White Convertible Chevy Camero! Oh yeah! One of the most memorable moments of my life! Thank you Chase!

Chase was a great salesman. He researched things before we arrived, had our Dutch bros and the car waiting when we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure the deal worked. His work ethic showed and it ultimately helped us make our decision on where to buy a car.

They both were wonderful to work with on price as well as being professional and having integrity closing our deal. We are very happy with our experience as well as our beautiful new CX5. He knows his product and was absolutely no pressure as we test drove SEVERAL cars. Always a smile on his face, he was SO accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. We ended up purchasing 2024 CX-5 and I have been into CardinaleWay a couple times since my purchase to pick up other things I got for my new car and he always offers me water and has even run my car through the wash for me! Terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service! I purchased a used 2023 CX 5 from them. When I test drove the vehicle, Chase Parker, the salesperson promised to have the vehicle detailed and windshield replaced. The windshield had 4 cracks in it, 3 of which are obstructing the driver's view. When the car was delivered, however, the windshield was not replaced. Chase claimed it had passed inspection so he didn't need to replace it. He promised to replace it and I was stupid enough to take his word on it. Also, it should NEVER have passed inspection. The 160 point inspection says "88. Windshield is free of cracks, large chips, and improper repairs". It is marked as meets standards. I test drove the vehicle on June 7 and the 160 point inspection report was allegedly done on June 5 so Chase lied to me. He knew or should have known the windshield would not be replaced at the time of my test drive. But, when the car was delivered he said, in writing, "the Mazda was missing our 160 point inspection folder. So i'm getting that re done then I'll be on the way, probably about 20 minutes..." So they backdated the inspection or did it in 20 minutes, which is impossible! Unscrupulous conduct! Never buy from them!
