Pretty disappointing they enforce a non-refundable

Pretty disappointing they enforce a non-refundable deposit policy and lack any sort of negotiating and flexibility with vehicle deliveries. Despite a good price their sales person seemed impatient and failed to give confidence/trust with a new vehicle purchase. Bringing my issues to the sales manager they considered a refundable deposit to be screwing them over, they opt to lock buyers into their deals as opposed to winning them over avoiding the competition. If you are unable to complete a purchase after putting down a deposit, whatever the excuse or mishap is they will defend themselves and keep your deposit. Other Honda dealers do not have a policy similar, are more willing to work with your schedule what is convenient for you, and negotiate if you're not happy with their offer.

I cant write out everything here.

I cant write out everything here. So I will say this. As military family we will never buy from this place again. They were not up front with us and they had the worst attitudes after I got mad letting them know and jumping through hoops for them that I was upset. I reached out to Manager and Owner and nothing back. When I went today to pick my car up today my salesman did not even show I was given the keys and walked out by another salesman. It was a very awful feeling. Stay away and do your research.

I want to start this off by saying I never leave reviews

I want to start this off by saying I never leave reviews but this was the WORST experience! I would NOT recommend O'Daniel Honda! I am very disappointed in the service I received at O'Daniel Honda. I was lied to and treated poorly! So here is what happened, I bought my car used from O'Daniel Honda and was told all about the lifetime power terrain warranty and how great it is and never had to use it/ take my car in for anything til now (and it's a joke and doesn't cover what they say it does on website). But that's not the worst part. I have a 2017 equinox with 89,000 miles. I have always taken good care of it and got it serviced regularly (have receipts for proof). Well on January 21st I heard a noise and stopped driving right away and pulled into Walmart as it was closet thing to me. They took a look and thought an oil gasket blew. I still had some oil but was loosing oil (no check engine light was on, this is information needed for later in the story). I called O'Daniel Honda oil gasket is part of power terrain so had my car towed over there as I did not want to drive it and something go wrong. O'Daniel Honda took a look at it and said it was not an oil gasket it was a rear main seal leak and then said my timing chain would need to be done as well. (According to their website timing chains are covered on warranty, but they told me it is not and will cost me around $5,300) I need my car I'm a teacher so had to fix it. Well when I went in to pick it up the mechanic Matt was there and walked over and told me about a recall on a Camshaft actuater that I would need to take it in to a Chevy dealership to get done (called Chevy dealership the next day no recall. This detail is important later) After I paid they pulled my car up and I went out to start it and my check engine light was on (remember no light was on when I brought it in.) I walked back in and told Matt he came out with the code reader and my dad was with me and pointed out how black liquid was being shot out my exhaust and was dripping from behind my rear driver side tire. Matt read the code and quickly cleared it and said it was a C02 sensor from the work they did and it shouldn't turn back on after I drive it. Then put his hand in front of black liquid being shot out and said it's just soot from there work and will stop after driving. He said to call back down if it comes back on and he will take care of it (LIES). I drove it home (didn't feel right driving was driving rough) turned it on next day light was back on. Called back was told it would cost more if I brought it back to get fixed. Brought it in to another mechanic that day so didn't even drive it for a day less than 50miles. The mechanic plugged it in and said it was the camshaft actuater (which Matt said was a recall but wasn't). So the black liquid being shot out was not soot but fuel. The mechanic went in to fix it and saw Matt the mechanic at O'Daniel did not tighten the tensioner on timing chain it was super super loose he could move it with his finger. He did not change out the whole timing kit even though I was charged for it. The mechanic had to remove engine again to do camshaft actuater and redo the oil change O'Daniel just did because of it as well. The new mechanic also said the camshaft should have been looked at and taken care of when the engine was out the first time. He was mad at the situation for me as well and wanted to see what all O'Daniel charged me for, he even said I was screwed over and felt very sorry for me. The new mechanic had to redo oil change again, change out the camshaft actuators, balance and tighten the chain tensioners, balance the shaft chain, do the crank seal, timing cover gasket, and the valve cover gasket. I also have the codes that read camshaft on the bill as well. Multiple of these things were on my O'Daniel bill but NOT done or not done right. Since the engine had to be taken out again it cost me another $1,600.

Have bought 4 new Honda’s here.

Have bought 4 new Honda’s here. Sales are fine, service not so good. They have a policy that the included oil changes are only done when maintenance minder is down to 15 percent which can easily be over 10,000 miles. As a retired master mechanic, i have rebuilt enough engines to know that if you plan to keep a vehicle, 7,500 is the top limit if you plan to keep the car. Their refusal to do the complimentary included changes at the interval that I am comfortable with as the customer, sadly will have me looking elsewhere as I will buy elsewhere.

Horrible customer service from ALL of the staff.

Horrible customer service from ALL of the staff. I suggest taking all your Honda needs anywhere but here. Jon and Matt are the biggest scumbugs on this planet and think its okay to get physical with customers. Pleaseeeeee take your business anywhere else! Even JiffyLube is a better place to go to than this crapshoot.

Stan’s the Man at O’Daniel Honda in Omaha NE

I love my new, 2023 Honda CRV-LX! From the moment Stan shook our hands and said hello, we knew we had a top salesman. It was the, “let me see what we’ve got coming in” that started the ball rolling. We never felt pressured and appreciated his kind and professional demeanor. Thanks for all your help! We’ll be back!

I've purchased 2 new Honda's with Steven Andrews.

I've purchased 2 new Honda's with Steven Andrews. My wife and I felt completely confident in dealing with him. He never made us feel pressured or uncomfortable, quite the opposite. He took the time to listen to all our questions and answered every one with the knowledge and experience of a man that truly wants us to understand. He tells it straight, more like a friend verses trying to make a quick sale. At no point did we ever feel rushed or pushed. My wife started buying Honda CR-V's the first year they were made, and we've bought 7 new ones so far, all through O'Daniel Honda. We have never shopped at any other Honda dealerships because we've always felt like we've been treated honestly and fair. Keep up the good work and we'll be back!!!

Received invoice stating a tire rotation was completed

Received invoice stating a tire rotation was completed and Service Advisor told me it was done as well. After receiving my car back I told the Advisor I had marked my tires. Boy did he sure look stupid when he was caught and had to admit it. TRUST I don’t think so.

Mark Johnson is the one to see at O'Daniel Honda!

Mark Johnson is a good salesperson and we felt comfortable talking with him. He explained the new features of the vehicle well. There was no pressure to purchase a vehicle which we appreciate. I would recommend anyone to see Mark!
